I needed my studio moved from Washington DC to a two bedroom in Rockville MD. The parking is very tight where I used to live in DC and they managed to maneuver through like pros. They were quick, very careful and all around easy to work with. From the people who helped me out in the office to the movers that took amazing care of my belongings, I couldn't be anymore satisfied. If your struggling on making a decision call me and ill let you know my experience! 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

495 movers finished my move last night and when I tell you it is worth the extra hours we had to pay for them to pack and unpack for us it was truly a life saver! My wife and I are both so busy with work we just did not have the time to do it ourselves. We got to come back home today to a house that doesn't even seem like we just moved. Pricey but worth EVERY penny!

Hard workers

I hired 495 Movers based on the reviews just cause reviews mean a lot to us. We hired them to move my residence from Montgomery County to Northern Frederick county. I downsized from a 4500 SF house to a 1600 SF house. Even after months of me de-cluttering, donating and packing, I still had a lot of stuff. I called 495 movers and they immediately offer a on site visual estimate. Tom showed up and told me they can defiantly handle my move within 12 hours cause we did have a big house and we needed two trucks I know this because when we first moved We used 3 trucks. On the day of the move the team arrived on time, with 6 men and 2 trucks. They handled EVERYTHING Every member of the team was friendly and helpful - and they were enjoying what they were doing. The team arriving in MD to pack up our home and were on time, respectful and worked efficiently. Like clockwork they loaded the truck making the heavy lifting look easy. They even took time to say hi to our dog. The best part was no damage or mess left behind. I highly recommend 495 movers.

495 movers is the best, David Benitez was the lead in my move and he directed everything exactly how I would have.They disassembled my furniture and reassembled at the new location and set up everything for me. The only thing I had to do was unpack, which they offered to do as well, but they already worked so hard and I am so glad I choose 495 movers. I highly recommend hiring them as your movers. Very reliable people everyone is on the same page there at the office and their customer services is amazing.

I had a very great experience with this company! They were very helpful. As me being a single mother of 4 I really don’t have enough time so they packed everything up for me and did assembled muy boys bunk beds. When they were loading and unloading they were very careful as if they were handling there own property! I will totally keep this company in my contact in case I need help in the future as well as recommended them to my family and friends!

495 Movers were the best. They wrapped all my furniture the proper way and handled it with such care. During the move-in, they saw that the dresser was a little busted. Knowing full well that they were not the cause of that incident it has been busted for a while, they still brought out their tools and fixed my dresser. Service above and beyond! Other point (not as major, but still speaks volumes as to their employees). They were done with their job, but saw me struggling lifting a box to unpack something that I needed and they decided to helped me out. Totally didn't have to do that (I wouldn't have thought anything of it; I had even already paid and tipped them), but they went out of their way to help.

Wonderful, professional service

I was very satisfied with the service I received. The policy of providing unlimited boxes and tape to the client is very useful. And, the movers were extremely thorough, considerate and helpful, packing the last of my things up on the day of the move and taking care to put all the boxes and furniture in the right places. They took care to protect the new paint in the house and were equipped with the right tools and skills to assemble/disassemble large things effectively. I also really appreciated their flexibility as they adjusted their schedule to accommodate my moving date. They put the client first.

495 Movers moved our belongings from our three bedroom home in Virginia, to our new home in Dayton, Ohio. They managed to squeeze our move in when no other movers could accommodate us. They wrapped up my mattresses, bubble wrapping my fragile items, and disassembling my furniture and wrapping it all up to protect it. The movers were friendly and respectful the whole time they were in my home and were pleasant to work with. They loaded our furniture and items on a Monday, and delivered them to our Dayton address on Wednesday. They reassembled every item that had required disassembling. They worked diligently and with common sense. I absolutely recommend them for your move.

I can't say enough great things about this company. I had an interstate move and I researched so many companies for days and read volumes of horrific reviews about so many moving companies and I was not feeling comfortable about hiring anyone to move my stuff. Our moving experience was great. They gave us a very close estimate, then they made it easy for us to pick up all the packing supplies we needed (which are also included in the total. The movers showed up on time and were very nice and professional. They took good care of all of our items and everything arrived in good condition. This is the place to go for efficient, friendly, professional, courteous and careful movers! I was consolidating antiques and fragile porcelains as well as a grand piano from storage. The 4 movers were very very detail oriented in wrapping furniture, staging the move and loading it on the two trucks.

Josh the coordinator, was on top of things right when I called and requested a quote. Monti came out and gave us a very competitive price. It also included free moving boxes of different sizes, dish barrel boxes and wrapping paper.

As part of our package, David who ended up being our team leader delivered the boxes to my place for free. I was very impressed just from the delivery of the moving boxes that I knew going with 495 movers was the right decision.

I even made a request to Josh for David to be part of the moving team. And he arranged it.

Communication from David- the team leader is excellent. From confirmation to texting me the ETA of the truck & crew, it was seamless.

When our settlement got changed a few days before our scheduled move, our original movers were not available. I was hesitant to use a new company, but didn't want to wait a week after closing to move. I called 495 movers and I don't regret it. Great communication and service. They even had to move two large antiques which they did with ease.
