Wonderful, professional service

I was very satisfied with the service I received. The policy of providing unlimited boxes and tape to the client is very useful. And, the movers were extremely thorough, considerate and helpful, packing the last of my things up on the day of the move and taking care to put all the boxes and furniture in the right places. They took care to protect the new paint in the house and were equipped with the right tools and skills to assemble/disassemble large things effectively. I also really appreciated their flexibility as they adjusted their schedule to accommodate my moving date. They put the client first.

495 Movers moved our belongings from our three bedroom home in Virginia, to our new home in Dayton, Ohio. They managed to squeeze our move in when no other movers could accommodate us. They wrapped up my mattresses, bubble wrapping my fragile items, and disassembling my furniture and wrapping it all up to protect it. The movers were friendly and respectful the whole time they were in my home and were pleasant to work with. They loaded our furniture and items on a Monday, and delivered them to our Dayton address on Wednesday. They reassembled every item that had required disassembling. They worked diligently and with common sense. I absolutely recommend them for your move.

No question, this is the company to use. They were professional, upfront with pricing, extremely respectful, and made what should be a stressful experience, worry free. Outstanding!!!! I would highly recommend them.

I can't say enough great things about this company. I had an interstate move and I researched so many companies for days and read volumes of horrific reviews about so many moving companies and I was not feeling comfortable about hiring anyone to move my stuff. I finally came across 495 Movers and could not believe how great the reviews were compared to all of these other well known large moving companies out there. The great reviews sold me and everyone was right, they really are a 5 star company. The customer service was great, I had no issues getting in touch with anyone and everyone I spoke to by phone with questions, etc. was extremely helpful.

Our moving experience was great. They gave us a very close estimate, then they made it easy for us to pick up all the packing supplies we needed (which are also included in the total. The movers showed up on time and were very nice and professional. They took good care of all of our items and everything arrived in good condition. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone moving in the DC area.

This is the place to go for efficient, friendly, professional, courteous and careful movers! I was consolidating antiques and fragile porcelains as well as a grand piano from storage. The 4 movers were very very detail oriented in wrapping furniture, staging the move and loading it on the two trucks.

Josh the coordinator, was on top of things right when I called and requested a quote. Monti came out and gave us a very competitive price. It also included free moving boxes of different sizes, dish barrel boxes and wrapping paper.

As part of our package, David who ended up being our team leader delivered the boxes to my place for free. I was very impressed just from the delivery of the moving boxes that I knew going with 495 movers was the right decision.

I even made a request to Josh for David to be part of the moving team. And he arranged it.

Communication from David- the team leader is excellent. From confirmation to texting me the ETA of the truck & crew, it was seamless.

When our settlement got changed a few days before our scheduled move, our original movers were not available. I was hesitant to use a new company, but didn't want to wait a week after closing to move. I called 495 movers and I don't regret it. Great communication and service. They even had to move two large antiques which they did with ease.

We had a great experience with 495 from start to finish. The guys were awesome. Arrived on time and were very careful with our things. The price was also unbeatable as I've checked several other companies!

At this point, I'm a recurring customer of 495 Movers. They recently moved me for the 3rd time, and once again, it was a success! Here is yet another updated review of 495 Movers.

They arrived ahead of time to prep for the move. They had it all. Drop cloths, dollies, plastic wrap and tools. They even rolled out the blue carpet to protect your floors during the move. After taping the door back for easy entry/exit, they got right to it.

First, they collected all the boxes. I know I had at least 50 and within a matter of minutes, they were loaded onto the truck. After that, they disassembled my bed, dining furniture and other pieces, careful wrapped each individual piece in plastic, then rolled it all up in a drop cloth. Talk about going above and beyond when it comes to protecting your things.

I used 495 for a local move. Unlike previous experiences, i felt like i can really trust this guys that will take care of my stuff, and they didnt disappoint me!!! Thay actually know the job, and know how to make a happy customer! Great work! Great service! Really great people! :-)

I used them last week to move out of my 2 bedroom apartment across the country. They were awesome. The two men who came, Nate and Tom, were a great team. They clearly had a system down, because they worked quickly and efficiently the whole time- there was no point when either of them seemed to be standing around or didn't know how to handle an item. They were quite careful with my stuff and brought shrink wrap to better secure the blanket-wrapping I'd already done. Most importantly, they did an AMAZING job making efficient use of the truck space. The team knew exactly how to load the truck so it was secure and full to the top.

My moving experience was excellent with 495 Movers. From original contact and scheduling the move date, to collecting their complimentary boxes/paper/tape, to the day of move - 495 Movers were professional and friendly. They made a very difficult job seem easy, we are very happy!

495 Movers did a tremendous job for me on my recent move from Rockville to Germantown. The employees were punctual and took the care to pack my belongs so they wouldn't be damaged. The price quoted to me was inclusive of packing materials, so there were no hidden costs; I actually ended up paying less than quoted because the went quicker than expected. All in all. 495 Movers did a stellar job and I highly recommend their services.

When I first called 495movers I talked to Josh this guy is great he knows moving understands customer needs. He sent me an estimate within 5 minutes . When the movers got there I didn't even realized when they had everything in the truck . This guys are great I will highly recommend them to everyone who is reading this review.
