495 movers sent a 3 person team to facilitate an in-state move from townhouse to townhouse, The team was phenomenal. They disassembled and safely packed all furniture, they packed my kitchen and everything was delivered to the designated rooms and reassembled in my new home within 5.5 hours. The pricing structure was made clear upfront, there were no surprise fees for the packing or materials. Marvin and team were great!

They covered or boxed everything. They wrapped blankets then shrink wrap around all the furniture, everything came back without any damage. I was so impressed with their packing. They put protective runners on all the floors. Price included round trip and storage.

I recently moved a short distance in the Rockville area. This was the second time I used 495 Movers. For this recent move, I started with a cheaper option, but when I looked at the time and effort I would need to put in, I went back to 495. All of the packing supplies are included, whether you pack yourself or have them do it. This time I had 495 come and do most of my packing. (I just can't lift and bend like I could before.) They did a fantastic job, not one thing was damaged! They were on time, communicated clearly, and did a quick and professional job packing and unpacking the truck. I could also customize the move based on what I needed; how much I would pack, how much they would, items that needed assembly (tables, bedframes), etc. I absolutely would work with them again!

Great move from start to finish. Milton (delivery driver) was a superstar! He could have easily (and understandably) delayed delivery to another day due to local help calling out due to an emergency, but he pressed on single-handedly in delivering our goods safely. He unloaded 75% of the truck by himself before another (local help) arrived. Both finished the delivery expeditiously with no damaged. The overall cost was a little higher than other estimates, but the results were first- rate!

The moving crew was quick. They ran when loading.

The movers from 495 were absolutely professional and skilled, with a very attractive price. They were polite, efficient, and truly experts at what they do. Everything I asked for was handled perfectly, and most importantly their customer service and attitude were outstanding.

I also used their storage services, and once again, the experience was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Extremely impressively efficient movers. Took an hour less than planned because they were so fast. Speed came along with quality though nothing was damaged in the move.

495 movers completed the first phase of our move. They packed and will move us out of state but that is not completed. Up to this point, they are very professional, service oriented ,timely and want our move to go as smoothly as possible. Very easy to reach with questions, concerns, scheduling, everything! One of the owners even stopped by during the move to check up on the status and inquired if everything going well. Definitely take the packing option. They are really quick and know how to pack! Looking forward to our delivery!

They did great work from start to finish with evaluating our apartment and belongings for packing to getting everything packed on the day of the move and getting us all moved in. We went from Rockville to Frederick and things went really well. Very communicative all the way through the process.. Highly recommend.

The actual move couldn’t have gone better. We had a ton of stuff in our three-story townhouse, but the team handled everything without a hitch. They even helped pack up things we hadn’t gotten to yet. The movers worked hard, took care with our fragile items, and made the whole process way less stressful than we expected.

I needed a bunch of furniture moved around a house. Think sofa beds around enclosed stairs with corners (one up, one down), dressers up/down floors and lots of miscellaneous re-arranging.. The 2 guys were polite and super careful and up for the challenge!

The team of workers from 495 Movers were great. They were on time, professional, courteous and flexible. They worked efficiently and were responsive to and respectful of our needs. The administrative side of things could have been better. There were too many redundant calls about the same or similar topics from different people, giving the impression that communication within the organization could have been more efficient. Also, the multiple emails regarding insurance caused confusion. Overall, the experience was great and I would recommend 495 Movers to family and friends.
