Very professional company with excellent communication and competitive pricing. Movers arrived right on time and loaded up my apartment much faster than expected. Nothing was broken or damaged during transportation. I had already wrapped most furniture pieces but they also provided free wrapping as well in case you didn't. I even got a call during the middle of the move just to check in how things were going. I also appreciated the free boxes, packing paper and tape. Overall highly recommend for anyone moving in the DC area!

The movers (Milton &Milton) called before arrival to the commercial bldg and again when on their way to the residence.

I’m very pleased with 495 movers. This is an honest company offering very affordable pricing. From free estimate to getting everything to my new house I felt no pressure communicating with the employees. I like the free boxes deal. Even I didn’t use tons of boxes it’s comfortable to know I always can get more packing supplies from the local store.
The movers were on time and worked diligently. The head mover was experienced and polite. He dissembled and assembled furniture professionally.
The whole moving process was smooth.
Best of all the final bill was a few hundreds dollars lesser than estimated. I highly recommend this moving company to anyone needs moving services.

Super friendly staff! They were quick and efficient, packed and shipped everything perfectly. We moved across the country and had 2 of the same guys who helped us at our starting location show up to help us unpack at the end location and it made me feel very comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

My experience with 495 movers has been great and I would most definitely recommend their services to anyone who needs professional help moving. This was the first time I used a company to move from a residential complex in Washington DC to another rental in Harrisburg, PA.

They walked me to the process and check on me several times before the day of the move. Their cost estimate was very fair and they even accepted to move a couple of beloved potted plants. I was charged based on the actual hours of work they put in, which means that they were willing to adjust the estimate for me to a lower amount from what was initially negotiated. The team showed up on time and worked efficiently and with great care.

These guys are awesome! We recently moved from Baltimore to Boston and used the flat rate service with packing and guaranteed delivery date included. In just ~5 hours, the team packed up and loaded our entire 1bd/1ba apartment - we didn't even lift a finger! We received our items just two days later, and the delivery team led by Mario was quick and efficient in bringing everything to its desired location and rebuilding disassembled furniture. Everything was expertly packed - nothing broke or was damaged aside from a few hangers. I've used 495 Movers for 3 different moves over the last few years and would use them again. I appreciated their cost transparency, the communication pre and post move, the care they took with my possessions, and the overall professionalism of staff from the main office to the movers and the warehouse. An added bonus was the provision of boxes, tape and packing materials.

This was the second time working with 495 Movers to help my daughter move. As was the case with the first move, this was a great experience. Setting up the move ahead of time was easy. Plenty of schedule options. In fact I needed to make a couple of changes to the schedule and that was no problem.
Great coordination from their office staff prior to the move and follow-up after the move. I even received a call during the move to inquire if things were going well. The crew on the day of the move was terrific. Amazing how well they wrapped everything and the care they took with it.
