We called Thomas Engineering to do an engineering analysis of our foundation because of new cracks in our brickwork. The person who came to our house (sorry, I don’t remember his name) was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very thorough). He saw many things we knew nothing about and took foundation elevations in all parts of the house. A week later we received a detailed analysis about how our foundation was performing (no repairs needed) along with many recommendations for improvements in drainage and about keeping the moisture level consistent around the foundation. There were also recommendations about installing tree root barriers and for the removal of one tree next to the foundation.
