Very thorough report with suggestions on how to remedy shifting foundation caused by tree roots. Detailed information in the report regarding soil hydration, proper placement of pilings, if needed, and root barrier installation. Planning to start with root barrier installation, evaluating current drip line system around house, and seeing if the foundation levels correct naturally over time. I would definitely recommend Thomas Engineering if you are having foundation issues.

They were exceptionally thorough! They identified a significant foundation issue in a home I wanted to purchase and even recommend various honest foundation repair companies. Had I moved forward without seeking their expertise, I would have been out $80K at a minimum for the work alone. Anytime i consider purchasing here in TX i will ensure I seek their services.

We had them produce an engineering report based on the permits we need to get our repairs done.

Our foundation cracks have been properly inspected by TEC to determine whether they are purely cosmetic or not.

The consultant that arrived was very professional from his attire to the wat he conducted the survey. This was a great investment not only for the piece of mind and the fact it saved me a lot of money was the best part. I highly reccomend doing this before falling prey to a foundation repair company.
