This was well worth the money. Rather than contact a foundation repair company, who are incentivized to do expensive repairs, I highly recommend contacting an independent foundation engineer. Thomas Engineering appeared at my home at the agreed upon time, took measurements, and calculated just how much the foundation had risen or fallen at points throughout the house. Then compared that to established norms to see if foundation repairs were warranted. Good visit, good demeanor, good written report. I highly recommend them.
