My experience with Alight Wellness over the past 9 months has been truly life-changing. I began my journey with them feeling so depleted and as though nobody was hearing me when I described the symptoms I had been experiencing over the previous 3 years. But Dr. Rhodes, Dr. Hudson and their team not only listen, but take action! I can attest to their compassion, professionalism and expertise - my health, as well as my understanding of it, has benefitted so greatly from this wonderful team and I am excited to continue this journey with them.

I recently finished my program with Alight Wellness and met all my goals by reaching my target weight, lowering my blood sugar levels so I'm no longer prediabetic, getting my hormones in check and learned better nutrition habits.

I also want to add that for my specific health goals, Dr Hudson recommended I have a bone density test done. I'm not that young but not that old either. I was found to have osteopenia. My bone density is lower than normal but not yet advanced to osteoporosis. Under normal circumstances, this test is done around the age of 65. That's a few years ahead of me. Had I not had this test done early on, who knows where I would be by the time I'm 65. We caught it early on so now I can do something about it through diet and exercise. Even the technician administering the test stated that the naturopaths have a better handle on this than most...

Alight wellness has truly been my light at the end of the tunnel. When my primary care doctor or dermatologist couldn't help with my irritated skin issues, in fact made my situation worse, Alight wellness was able to figure out where they were coming from and treat them naturally and progressively. I reached my weight loss goal and my get healthier goal by following the provided food plan, learning the whys and hows behind it and took my customized and provided supplements as prescribed. Before starting the program, my base weight of 158 lbs had been steadily climbing from 135 lbs for years. I am so thankful for having found Alight Wellness! I initially came in to address hormone issues related to perimenopause—the brain fog, achy joints, hot flashes, weight gain, and honestly, just not liking myself very much. I was struggling with different health issues. The list of medications were increasing as time passed. When you're a member, you get access to naturopaths, coaches and facilitators, fitness classes and discussion groups... your program fees also cover labs, supplements, detox shakes, books and resources. I was so pleased when I understood this.

Before I joined the program, I was struggling with an onslaught of early perimenopause symptoms, carrying about 30 pounds of extra weight (all around the waist), inflammation issues, low libido, brain fog, exhaustion, depression and zero motivation - rarely leaving the threshold of my home. I completed the 6 month program with Alight Wellness and it was a gratifying experience overall. My gut health improved to a point in which I did not need to take the medications I was on. I went to a free seminar offered by Dr.Hudson and after attending I was inspired to give her program a try. I was having difficulty sleeping and was feeling exhausted on a regular basis. I did not have the energy I needed to get through the day. After following her program I am seeing improvement with my sleep and have the energy I need to get through the day. The most transformational 6 months of my life and a worthy investment in my health. Dr Tanya Hudson and her team were just as much invested in my health and wellbeing as me or my family.
