The team at Basement Builders did a phenomenal job with our basement! Don, Murray, Ryan, Kristina and all the contractors went above and beyond the work expected. From beginning to the very end of the project they keep you updated with every step of the project. Whenever I had a concern Ryan and his team were quick to respond. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Basement Builders every time. Thank you for all the great work!

We recently had our basement finished by Basement Builders, and overall we’re really happy with how everything turned out. We worked with two project managers, Murray and Ryan, and both were great throughout the entire process.

From the start, Murray set clear expectations about project timelines. He explained that after framing and plumbing there might be a few quiet days, which ended up being exactly right. The trades were all professional and came back at the right times to keep things moving. George, who handled framing, and the plumbing trades people were especially friendly and easy to work with. One thing that really stood out was when they replaced a window with a larger one, they restored everything outside (rocks, window well, etc.) exactly as it was before.

Our experience with warranty tech (Brandon) was good. He did the expected work on time . Our overall experience with douglas homes is great. They fulfilled our requests and did a great job in case of quality of home and all inspections after that.

I am so glad we went with Basement Builders for our basement development, even my father in law is impressed by the build, and that never happens. Everyone was incredibly polite and professional, and the development process happened so quickly. We barely noticed there were people working and they left our basement cleaner than when they started.

Basement Builders are a truly excellent business. They were first to respond to our Project request and — after interviewing/vetting 12 other contractors — they were our preferred vendor. The Project involved complexity and creativity. Ultimately, it was executed seamlessly, on-budget and ahead of schedule. We would not hesitate to pursue any other Projects with them, and certainly recommend to others.

From start to finish Basement Builders were great. Professional staff, kept us updated and informed and did a great job! There was one issue, with one of their contractors, which they immediately sorted. There are a few minor touch ups that are already booked in for repair. Would highly recommend.

Great company , stood behind their work and promises in my experience at least. work was great, subcontractors were really good as a rule. like any project there were miscommunications and hiccups but they reasonably sorted things out. I would hire them again but i would make sure all the costs were clarified the next time. They would be number one on my list to hire the next time.

It’s been a few years since our basement was completed and we had an issue with one of the pot lights. We reached out to Basement Builder’s enquiring about the product so we could get it fixed, assuming it was our responsibility now, but they sent an electrician over and fixed our issue promptly.
