These movers were great! Josh was very easy to work with to coordinate the pickup and make the deposit. We did a virtual consultation and from there he worked with his company to get an even lower rate for me. The movers at pickup were friendly, on time and efficient. People from the company were calling me to check in along the way as well. I had total confidence in this team which is important when moving. They stored my belongings for about a month at their facility in MD (at no charge to me) and delivered to FL well within the 10 day delivery window. Our experience with 495 Movers was excellent. We did a full service local move from a 3bdrm single family home with a full basement - lots of stuff! Packers arrived the day before the move and did a very professional and efficient job of packing and wrapping everything. Moving day was similarly smooth. Both the packing and moving teams were friendly, professional and highly experienced.

We did a preliminary walk-through estimate, which was key as the total move went over the not-to-exceed by 2hrs. 495 movers honored the not-to-exceed agreement and did not charge us for the additional hours, which speaks to the high integrity of the company

Overall, this was our best moving experience yet, despite this being our largest move yet, volume-wise. Our only regret was that we did not go with 495 for our previous moves! Read more >

Very Good,
Although everything could not go on the truck because of weight limits the crew professionally loaded the relo cube I had on site for the just in case,
The crew was on time, communication was constant and excellent.
They repacked a few items to their standards & packed somethings that we were not sure as to how to pack.
Nothing on the truck or in the tell cube was either scratched or damaged.
As they unloaded we asked for a few changes in furniture placement to which their response was absolutely no problem.
An excellent moving experience from the salesman, the coordinator and especially the crew.
If you are moving along the I95 corridor we strong suggest you call 495 Movers.

We used them to move from WV to MA back in 2019, and they were EXCELLENT. Their customer service was top notch, they got us moved quickly, and nothing was lost or broken! Of note: One of the items they moved for us was an antique organ, and it arrived perfectly intact!

Our move was a complex, multi location, multi date move. Phase one was moving many boxes and furniture to storage with drop off to two family members. The crew was amazing! Arrived promptly at 8am, walked the house to make a plan, got to work immediately. Took great care to wrap & protect all furniture and fragile items. Worked nonstop until the truck was ready. The move was from Maryland to Delaware. The crew showed up on time and were very professional.
Once at the destination; before moving anything into the home ,floors and possible contact points were covered to minimize damage and tracking dirt into home. The crew was great!

495 movers was recommended to me, and from the first call with Josh, I knew I was in the right hands. Autumn followed up with me prior to the move along with Josh, who I spoke with several times. Everyone I spoke to was polite, professional and prepared.

When the movers came, they took my moving insanity in stride (I am not the easiest person to move) and worked with me to get everything situated, and they packed what I hadn't completed quickly before moving everything to the truck. I have several dogs and a cat and they treated my animals with respect as well, which was appreciated. ( To clarify, they didn't move my animals, I drove them directly 😊)Nothing broke during the move, and they were polite and friendly the entire time. They even made better time than I did driving to the new residence.

Broke our heavy and expensive porcelain vase during delivery. I had a mounted puzzle glued together and supported by backer board. They transported the pieces without wrapping the whole thing and delivered it with missing pieces. I suggest that you keep your eye on the packers every move as much as you can. Otherwise, you’ll guaranteed to have broken or missing items like I did. Contact their customer support immediately and file a claim. Our experience with 495 Movers was outstanding from the moment I called for an estimate to when they left our condo after they were done. Every member of the staff was friendly and professional in their interactions with us. They provided us with moving supplies (boxes, packing materials, tape, etc.) and checked with us several times (via emails and phone call) on if we needed anything.
