I have used 495 Movers twice and have received excellent service! The first move included a relocation to Silver Spring and it went off without a hitch. The second time was a short move but again, I was pleased. From start to finish, the service was superb! We had a hiccup prior to the move date that required a move out, two day storage hold, and move in and they accommodated me at the last minute. Josh Garcia is incredibly!!!!!

We used 495 Movers a couple times in 2019. Based on our experience at that time, we decided to use 495 Movers again for our daughter's move from DC to Virginia and our move from VA to MD. The sales person called me within a few minutes of my request through their website. All the staff are very professional and promptly sent me all the required information for the move. First time in many moves that the quote is exactly the actual payment. Crew was fabulous! Extremely polite, responsive, hard working.

Excellent communications; move assessment, estimate, and contracting; same-day pack-out, truck loading, and delivery. All packing materials were professional grade. Well coordinated 4-person crew. Carefully wrapped and packed kitchen and household items. They didn't rush the process, taking time necessary to carefully move boxes and wrapped furnishings out of the house, carefully loading the van to prevent cargo movement. They carefully removed an exterior door to enable moving an oversized family desk and properly reinstalled the door thereafter. Unloading was just as careful and not rushed despite the threat of incoming thunderbusters. They got everything inside before the storm hit and finished inside seevice thereafter. They were great.They arrived on time and ended early. It was supposed to be a 10hr however they finished in 6hrs. The only con is they charged 75 dollars for shipping the package materials.

Helped me move painlessly. The quote I received was a bit higher than other places, but because the move went so smoothly it ended up being several hours shorter than estimated, resulting in a much cheaper move. I appreciate 495 movers giving an honest upper end quote instead of lowballing and then charging me more after the fact.

Easy to contact them and set up dates for moving. Instructions are clear and I like that they provide boxes, wrapping paper and tape. They worked within the hours quoted. No surprises on fee or how they conducted themselves in terms of protecting the furniture and transporting it safely.

I’ve used them a number of times and also referred to friends and family. Super professional, careful with items, great job at wrapping delicate items that weren’t already packed, and careful to protect floors within the home. These guys work hard and are highly recommended.

My moving team was speedy and efficient. They showed up early (before calling) and worked till the very last second to make sure everything was where it should be. Everything was carefully wrapped and packed and arrived in perfect condition.

I used 495 to move a medical facility. These guys were great from start to finish. Not only did they do an in person estimate, but they gave a good price and didn’t add miscellaneous charges for every little thing. They were very patient with me even though I had to reschedule multiple times. They were super responsive and made sure to confirm that I was getting everything I needed before the day of the move. And the day of the move was super smooth. They arrived on time and worked quickly. Did a thorough walk through before, during, and at the end of the move addressing every detail.
