MY MOVE WAS EXCELLENT! The guys were prompt, professional and they worked hard to get the job done. Moving from a two story townhome to a three story was more than a notion, but they didn’t complain, they just did they work and got in done. The care they took with my belongings was top notch. I’ve used 495 Movers twice and would not hesitate to recommend them. My daughter also used them for her move and was very pleased. Everyone from the office staff to the actual movers were very helpful and efficient. I gave them a key to our storage unit and asked them to pick it all up and bring it to our new home. There were no issues and they were very accommodating when we asked them to move furniture around until we got it to our liking. Our realtor recommended 495 and I can see why.

If you need any assistance moving items in the DMV or outside of it, 495 Movers are your guys! The entire process was simple and easy! They literally took care of packaging, shipping & delivering!

My 1 and only job was showing them what items needed to be moved. The process starts with a representative visiting your space and writing down all of the items you need moved. Then they send your quote and schedule a pickup date! The movers then visit your space on the scheduled date, safety proof your home so there’s no damages as they transfer items, safely transport your items to it’s final destination, and drop off your items in their designated rooms!

They also allowed me to drop off at 2 different locations which made my move extremely easy!

495 movers did a great job helping us finish our move. They handled all the heavy stuff we simply couldn’t move. They were so fast and professional. Everything was in perfect condition and they didn’t make a single make on the wall which honestly seems like magic. We highly recommend 495 mover and will use them again!

495 movers sent a 3 person team to facilitate an in-state move from townhouse to townhouse, The team was phenomenal. They disassembled and safely packed all furniture, they packed my kitchen and everything was delivered to the designated rooms and reassembled in my new home within 5.5 hours. The pricing structure was made clear upfront, there were no surprise fees for the packing or materials. Marvin and team were great!

They covered or boxed everything. They wrapped blankets then shrink wrap around all the furniture, everything came back without any damage. I was so impressed with their packing. They put protective runners on all the floors. Price included round trip and storage.

I recently moved a short distance in the Rockville area. This was the second time I used 495 Movers. For this recent move, I started with a cheaper option, but when I looked at the time and effort I would need to put in, I went back to 495. All of the packing supplies are included, whether you pack yourself or have them do it. This time I had 495 come and do most of my packing. (I just can't lift and bend like I could before.) They did a fantastic job, not one thing was damaged! They were on time, communicated clearly, and did a quick and professional job packing and unpacking the truck. I could also customize the move based on what I needed; how much I would pack, how much they would, items that needed assembly (tables, bedframes), etc. I absolutely would work with them again!

Great move from start to finish. Milton (delivery driver) was a superstar! He could have easily (and understandably) delayed delivery to another day due to local help calling out due to an emergency, but he pressed on single-handedly in delivering our goods safely. He unloaded 75% of the truck by himself before another (local help) arrived. Both finished the delivery expeditiously with no damaged. The overall cost was a little higher than other estimates, but the results were first- rate!
