When it came to the big move on 16 December, OMAR and ISMAEL were outstanding and excellent in their delivery services. They took extreme care of my household goods and they communicated effectively from the beginning when they began their service.

Making sure I was aware and comfortable with pricing before moving forward. My move team consisted of Milton, Juan, Jefferson, and George. They showed up, introduced themselves, completed a walkthrough and started packing. They got my move completed with no damages or loss. They handled my items with care. I have heard the horror stories of moving companies demanding more money at the time of your furniture being delivered, that was NEVER a concern with 495 movers, everything is documented and confirmed by both parties leaving no room for surprises. The movers were fantastic. They were a little late and the company is closed on Saturday so that gave me a brief scare, but they were coming from Maryland to DC. When they got there, they were quick and efficient with both the loading and the unloading. No dings or scratches and they provided their own packing supplies. Pricing was incredibly reasonable. Our experience with 495 Movers was exceptional from beginning to end. We had a very last minute move. I filled out the form on the website and Dean called me about 20 minutes after I submitted my information. He was very upfront and transparent about the costs (an hourly rate) and told me I could come the next morning to pick up packing materials (which there are no additional costs — all included!). I went three times that week to pick up more materials (I didn’t quite realize just how much we would need), and the team there was so great and got us everything we needed. We needed 2 refrigerators, a washer/dryer and several large, heavy pieces moved. The crew arrived right on time, kept clear communication throughout, and were very careful not to damage any of our items or home. This team of young men did an amazing job. I thought my house was packed and they came in and packed more. They were pleasant, professional, and respectful.They were also very cautious and meticulous with my china cabinet. The other furniture was dismantled and wrapped with care. The furniture was all assembled and placed where needed at the new location. Extra insurance not really needed, they handled with care. I will definitely recommend and use them again. We scheduled 495 movers to move my son from Georgetown to Florida. Right away, we where at ease with the communication, the experience and how they set and over achieved expectations. They were on time, wrapped, padded and boxed everything that needed it and were very quick, clean and efficient. My son was able to catch an early afternoon flight home. They arrived 4 days later in Florida and everything was in excellent condition. We thought Jerry Seinfeld had it right. Retire, move to Florida and buy a Cadillac. We didn’t get the Cadillac but decided to move to Florida.
Next step the move. We looked at the map and were struck by the fact that Florida was straight down 95. Hey, maybe they go down as well as around 95. Well they do and did. We heard their commercial.
That was a year and a half ago and yes they came down to bring is home to Virginia. Our home. We could tell this with a bunch of nice adjectives but believe our story does it better.
