Starting with getting my estimate by the owner because he wanted me to get off on a good note to the team who showed up 30 minutes early ready to go. We used 495 when we moved out of Rockville and their service and professionalism is unparalleled. We just moved back to the area and had a different company move us. They couldn’t get two couches in and just left them in the garage. So I call my superheroes, 495 Movers, and in less than 2 hours there was a crew of 4 here and they were able to problem solve and successfully get both of these couches into our 4 story townhome. Unbelievable and amazing service. I will never move without 495 Movers.

I have dealt with a moving company before and the overall costs was WAY overpriced, which was why I was skeptical about moving again. However, I was moving to a bigger apartment and after a whole year of buying new things and clothes, it was impossible to be all moved out in such short time.
I had to travel for work so the move had to be done ASAP. I was referred by a friend of mine and she said that this company was good and affordable. First impression was Great! They answered the phone and gave me an estimate that was within range of my budget. FCL (Full Container Load) shipping was the best option as far as getting a good deal so we went for that. We didn't mind our stuff in a shared container at all as long as nothing turned up missing or damaged. And nothing did. Communication with management was good which kept us feeling positive about working with them. Lots of patience was exercised because it takes weeks but that was all voiced to us before the transaction so no negative surprises came into play, all positive.

My International took a stressful complicated move and turned it into something much more manageable for us. We relocated back to Tel Aviv Israel to be closer to family after our daughter was born. The team walked us through the custom process which we hadn't dealt with for many years and a lot new rules had been put in place since then.

We couldn't have done it without them. They never pushed us to use their service or lied to us about any pricing. Very relaxed upfront honest business. Feel very good about the money spent with them.
Every box arrived undamaged and some of our artwork was custom crated to ensure it would remain in great shape for the whole trip. It all turned just how we had hoped.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE...

I have yet to book 495 Movers, but I will tell you their first impression was amazing. My first encounter with them was back in June. We were planning to move in August but our date got pushed to September. The whole way threw they’ve checked in often and when I told them I was shopping around for quotes they offered me pointers on how not to be ripped off.

They were patient, prompt and made it clear they wanted our business. If I can’t use them this time, I will be sure to refer others and use them in the future.

Other movers will say they will be there at a certain time only to have you waiting around, not these guys! They were prompt and even got to our house earlier than expected the morning of the move.
