My family and I have moved 17 times in 20 years with the military. I have had the pleasure of dealing with some good companies and the displeasure of dealing with surly, lazy inconsiderate ones.
This company clearly operates as the model for customer service, efficiency, and quality. I can only assume that all of their employees are held to a very high standard. Even so, the crew seemed to actually enjoy doing their best. From the clear, complete and timely scheduling and set up to the thorough care given to the handling and packing of our household goods, Family Movers set the bar. Highly recommended!
Thanks to Nate who scheduled and managed our move and the excellent crew that handled our packout. They even made a side trip to my home to pick up some items that I was not able to fit in our storage facility.

Recommended to me, owner helped due the estimate, very helpful and thought of things I wouldn't have thought of since this was my first move. Supplied unlimited free packing materials since I wanted to do some packing myself. Came afternoon before and pre-packed a major item for move next morning. The movers arrived on time moving morning and packed truck and on our way by noon. Unpacked and set up major items in my new home and were done by 4:30. Had bubble wrapped All major items for transport and charged as promised - overall excellent experience.

Fast, efficient, organized and very professional! Every measure was taken to ensure my belongingswere properly and safely transported. All packing material is included in the rate, you also can come to the company storage and pick up packing material. Nate from the office, tom and three men who were in charge of the move were a pleasure to work with. My experience with this company was very positive! I will used them again soon but i hope not to soon.

I am so pleased! Josh, Julio & Howard were amazing! They moved very heavy armoire's and took care of them like they were there own! Having all your furniture wrapped is the way to go! All of my things including family heirlooms were carefully moved. These 3 men were kind, caring and hard working! I am a Realtor and know how hard moving can be... This company is reasonable and I would recommend them.

Josh, Oscar, Salina, Marvin were excellent! They constantly communicated with us before and throughout the move to ensure everything went to the correct place in the house. They expertly disassembled, wrapped, and reassemble all the large furniture without any damage. They came prepared. Hard workers and I would highly recommend them and 495 movers.

Outstanding service and extremely professional! We are so pleased with the work of 495 movers. They were prompt, hardworking, and a pleasure to work with. They came prepared to move all of our heavy furniture, wrapped everything in blankets and plastic and transported it all without a scratch! They took extreme care with my piano and all four movers made a sure it was transported safely from Silver Spring To Frederick MD. The folks over at 495 are some of the kindest and hardest working people you will ever meet on this planet. They have moving down to a science, and are reasonable in their pricing. But what sets them apart is their terrific customer service. Josh and Tom set the bar very high - they both listen extremely well and always deliver what they promise. These guys totally exceeded my expectations and transformed a potential nightmare (our office renovation) to a smooth and enjoyable experience. Don't even consider anyone else to help you with your next move.

I cannot begin to express how happy we were with the services provided by 495 for our move from Rockville to Dayton, Ohio. As stressful as moving half way across the country is, they sure made it so much easier . Moti was so nice and reassuring throughout the whole process and all of his staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. All of our belongings were wrapped neatly and carefully and the boxes were not overloaded and all of our possessions were treated with care. We used both packing and moving services and are so happy we did. They arrived on time all 3 days and worked so hard. These guys are some of the best movers I've ever done business with. They moved our townhouse with complete efficiency and were quick and careful. The first company I've worked with that was not late! If you need movers at a great price, I think this is the best company in town!

We have moved quite a lot both internationally and locally and these guys were by far the best movers we have had!! Luis and his team came on time and immediately started working. Moving usually sucks, but these guys made it so easy on us. They worked hard all day, were very careful with our things (not a single scratch on any furniture and no broken items), and were very professional and courteous. 495 worked with us ahead of time to set everything up so that on the day of, everything was taken care of, and they also sent out a supervisor midway through the packing process to make sure we were satisfied with the work.

I simply can't rave enough about 495 Movers. From the moment we called we received the most courteous service.
The representative that I spoke with on my initial call was very polite and I got an email with the work order immediately as the call ended. The movers showed up EXACTLY at the time we agreed on, handled our furniture with care and even took the time to help move some furniture around in the house to our satisfaction. They were super professional and performed their service very efficiently. I have used other moving companies in the past, and I must say that This company is by far the best way one.
I will be using them for sure if I ever need moving again!

I had a free in home moving estimate and it was was expedient. Employees were kind and courteous. Ended up moving on my own so can't speak to that.

Very positive experience. Tom was our point of contact over the phone. He was very professional, thorough, and timely in all communication. The final cost was exactly what was quoted. There were no surprises. The three men who moved us were all friendly. Moving was smooth, there were no problems. There was a confusion about the fee for credit card payment and they gave me the benefit of the doubt rather than fighting about it which is just great customer service. Highly recommend to anyone!

Best service I've got from movers.
And I move a lot because of my job. This is the second time I have used them and I will do again! This was even a different crew of men and all went same, above and beyond of my expectation. Everything in it's place, fixed a few things I couldn't put back together and went the extra mile for me.

This company is great. We were referred to them by a friend and I am still in shock at the work the crew did. They showed up on time. They started working within minutes. They never slowed down or took breaks. They were careful with all of our belongings. They treated us with respect.

The work that the crew did would have taken me and my friends two days to complete and probably would have cost more. After three hours our house was emptied and our belongings put in storage. The price was reasonable and well worth it. I have already recommended 495 Movers to clients and friends.
