Also, I received exceptional customer service from start to finish with follow-up calls before and after my move from Autumn. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly, nice, and knowledgeable. Our family had a wonderful experience moving with the help of 495 Movers! Our family has moved a LOT and 495 Movers is my favorite moving company yet. The movers were professional, timely, VERY hard working, and careful. The estimate was accurate and clearly communicated.

I had to move from Maryland to DC on very short notice. The 495 team started to ease my mind right away by giving me a detailed estimate. And although they were a slightly higher estimate than the other three that I got from competitors, it was the estimator’s thoroughness that won me over. When I told him about the difference in estimates, he gave me a price break. The move went very smoothly. There were three movers and they fully wrapped everything; even the big furniture. They were quick, efficient, and the move was completed in the time promised. High praise and recommendation for 495.

Santos and his team did a fabulous job helping us pack, moving our furniture and 100 boxes, unloading, and putting things back together! No problems or damage from Maryland to Florida - everything worked as expected and on time - outstanding service and customer support from Roy and autumn at headquarters - great job - highly recommended!

Milton, Edwin, and Nelson were the best! Far exceeding any expectations I may have had!
They not only had the strength (brawn) necessary, but the brains and politeness i really respect. I recieved confirmation calls in advance, and a wake up call the morning of (which was a major relief, and much needed!)
Milton was able to navigate some tight spots in the city with a 26 foot truck to park, with plenty of patience, and could disconnect some complicated electronics, then reconnect at the final destination. They worked really hard for 10 hours straight, with just a 30 minute break, without breaking a thing, and I had plenty of fragile stuff. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you’d like a seamless move, by extremely considerate people, hire these guys! You won’t be sorry!!

495 movers is a great service to use for your next move! They are efficient, careful and communicate well. They wrapped my furniture very diligently, and when they unpacked, they did it within an hour. I was very impressed. Will definitely be using them again if I ever move in the future.

We hired 495 Movers for a local move and they did a great job of providing an accurate estimate, materials (all boxes, tape, paper wrap) for packing, as well as checking in with us throughout the process. The crew assigned to us took good care of our furniture (no damages!) and ensured they checked with us on where and how we wanted items to go in the destination house. Would certainly hire them again!

These young men came to work and they did just that!!! They did an excellent job that they saved us about $1000 and that is amazing. I was very nervous ahead of my move. I was planning on using a different company at first that was cheaper but reading through their contract, they had a ton of hidden and extra fees. 495 Movers made this EASY. The movers were a little late due to crazy traffic that day but when they showed up they were on point! From start to finish to INCLUDE the 30 minute drive to my new place was 3 hrs!!! They were quick, efficient, and careful! I could not be more appreciative of 495 for taking care of my furniture. I had three movers, 1 truck, and they moved everything exactly where I wanted it in my new home up 3 flights of stairs! I highly recommend this company for your next move. Being able to pick up all the materials ahead of time was also game changing. 10/10

495 movers did a great job with our move. Our move was somewhat complicated with our belongings going into storage while we found our new place. The team was professional and proactive with communication at every step. We picked up boxes and supplies for free and did a lot of packing ourselves. The movers did an outstanding and professional job of packing breakables, loading and unloading everything safely and there were no surprises in terms of damage, lost items, or cost. The initial estimate was low—we moved a piano and a lot of books—but final cost was competitive with three other estimates and they did a great job all around. I rarely write reviews of anything but 495 worked very hard to deliver great customer service and to communicate at every stage.

They did a very good job. They arri ed almost exactly when they said they would and moved the furniture and boxes into the van efficiently. At the new apartment across town, they arrived and unloaded quickly. The final charge was very close to the estimate. There were no extra charges or hidden fees.

495 movers was awesome to work with. Our DC to Richmond move went very smoothly. They were professional from the first encounter with the customer service team all the way until the last item was in placed at the new home. A major plus is they supply all the boxes and packing supplies!

We used 495 for two moves recently which included their packing services. For both moves, the 495 crews were fantastic!! They were on time, very courteous, professional, and worked non-stop. They were very diligent and also very careful. They took great care of all of our possessions. They made the moving experience as easy and stress-free as one can hope for! I would recommend them to everyone! And if they end up adding additional stars to this rating system, they would have earned all of those as well!!

495 movers was amazing! They are so organized and responsive, from the day we contacted them for an estimate to the end of our move. Dean, Autumn, Omar, Ismael, and all the others I am forgetting were so great. They moved us around 400 miles across states and moved everything perfectly. We are so grateful for their help and would use them again in a heartbeat.

The team was very professional! They came and efficiently packed up our kitchen and everything arrived in perfect condition! They were able to relocate our stuff from Maryland to Massachusetts in about 2 days which was way faster than other quotes we had received from other companies.

I actually didn’t end up using their moving services as I had a few logistical changes come up but I want to give a huge shout out to James! From the moment I called to get a quote, he was awesome! Super helpful. Super friendly! He broke everything down to me and was very patient - I asked a ton of questions probably to the point of annoyance lol. He was also very intentional with his follow up calls - when he said he would do something he did it. Clearly this company is stellar as the reviews alone validate that but I’d be remised to not at least call out James and his excellent customer service. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking to move! If I ever need moving services in the future they will be my go to.

My wife worked in Consumer Affairs and she has heard horror stories of inattentive and even unscrupulous movers. We did as much homework as we thought practical and chose 495 Movers out of three movers and storage companies. The representative that visited our home in Ashburn, Virginia was very professional and answered all our questions and assured us that there were no hidden fees. We contracted them to pack and move our stuff into their storage. Up to the day of the move and while the movers were packing and putting our stuff in the van, their customer service department called us and asked how the move was going. They carefully boxed all items and wrapped the furniture. They had five guys on site and were able to pack our stuff in that van within 6-7 hours.
