My movers were on time and moved my items with care! They were very patient with the slow elevators in my old building and got everything done in 2 hours. I also really appreciated the free moving supplies!

Packing, 495 movers swarmed my DC home and packed all of my 2 BR Condo within 1 day, loaded (down two flights of stairs) within 1 day and unloaded in North Carolina, also in 1 day. Everything was treated respectfully, including me. Every item was placed as I requested. My grandfather clock reassembled and meticulously placed back in service. All crates, wardrobes, many boxes - taken away. Thank you 495! Your team did a great job.

I wish it was possible to give more than 5 stars to this company! This is the 2nd time we have moved with 495 Movers and we have been more and more impressed each time they have helped us. Their pricing and transparency was extremely fair, and their communication and follow up throughout the entire process was exceptional. After a month plus of reviewing moving companies and getting estimates on our interstate move we decided on 495 Movers Inc. for a couple of reasons: first they’re carriers with their own fleet of trucks, secondly bad reviews were at a very minimum compared to most other highly rated movers, and lastly their in-person estimate and quote was excellent. No hidden charges or surprises at the end, which was guaranteed. We were not disappointed to say the least. We were guaranteed dates and times, the moving crew on both ends were very professional, efficient, and personable. And the end result, there were no issues or breakages. None! Communications from customer service was excellent as was the moving coordinator agent assigned to our move. 495 Movers are a well oiled operation that go above and beyond to accommodate your moving needs and make sure your move is a stress free experience....

Awesome moving company. I cannot recommend them enough. From the first time I talked to Dean to the day we actually moved, and even the day after. The front office folks were great every time I went in for boxes. The warehouse guys nice folks to deal with as well. Milton and his crew (Marvin Flores, Angel, and Alberto) were very professional. Milton called me to confirm they were on their way and always communicated with me throughout the day. They laid down a blue rug to protect hard flooring and plastic to protect the stairs. A day after we moved, Milton called me to pass along some information that he had forgot to tell the day of the move. Superb communication with these guys. Boxes, tape, and wrap paper come included in the quote. You’ll be surprised how many boxes you actually need, so definitely saved a bunch there.

495 Movers were supper helpful and professional during the whole process! My partner and I were moving from a 2br apartment to a 2br apartment across town. We just wanted help to move our large furniture and we were planning to move all the boxes ourselves to save some money. However, Fredis and Jorge were super efficient and not only moved all our large furniture, they also moved 95% of our boxes!!! It was a very easy process from start to finish and I am very glad everything workout better than I had hoped! They were right on the quoted time and cost a little less than the estimate in the end.

Milton and Edwin showed up early and braved the pouring rain to complete my move. They were very professional and patient with me during my move, and followed all instructions. All of my items made it to my new home safely and i’m good condition.

Gustavo and his crew moved my mother and they were amazing! Gustavo even made suggestions of where to put pieces of furniture that were better than what we had thought of!

The whole team was great! They arrived on time and did a good job packing our large furniture. They were cautious but fast! It was very helpful that they provided boxes and tape prior to moving. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to family/friends.

We’ve move a lot. It’s never fun, and the mover always seems to make it more stressful. 495 Movers were great from the beginning. They answered all of my questions (which were numerous over many days), worked with me on the contract terms, and were highly responsive. They offered free boxes, which no other mover did. And then on move day, their crew was amazing. They sent a large crew, and they took such care wrapping everything and loading it onto the truck. Moving out of our house was relatively painless because of 495. Our stuff was in storage for several months. And we just got it back as we moved into our new house. Now 495 only sent 2 guys to move us into our new house. I’ve never had just a 2-man crew move me, so I was a little irritated. But the 2 guys were great and super efficient. Everything went smoothly and pretty quickly. They were very nice and very hard working....

We had a great experience with 495 movers. They were professional, friendly and courteous; they were faster (and therefore cheaper!) than expected; and best of all, we arrived with nothing broken! They definitely took a lot of care with wrapping our things. I would highly recommend.

We moved on the hottest day of the year. I'm talking 108 degrees from Rockville to inner-city Baltimore and these guys were amazing from the start with dry t-shirts - to the end with soaking sweaty clothes and most likely some sort of heat stroke.

Our move-out had an elevator. Our move-in was made using one set of extremely thin stairs (rowhome built in the 1800's) and the fire escape.

When they arrived they wrapped up all our belongings with blankets and made sure everything was secure on the truck which was really awesome - nothing was damaged during the move.

Also (I just have to mention this because it was insane) the three guys jerry-rigged a pully system at one point to get our 3 person couch up a very rickety fire escape. They get it to the top and it doesn't fit through the window. They tried for 30 minutes at which point I handed them a...

In addition they confirmed the details before the move and showed up exactly on time. They completed the move in the estimated amount of time. The movers worked extremely hard and very efficiently.
