495 Movers helped my family move during a very hectic, difficult time as we went through a divorce. From the estimate process through moving day(s), they handled, with sensitivity and compassion, a challenging time for all of us, including for our two young children. Over a two-day period they moved everything from the home we were selling to two different households. Their service was impeccable: from providing boxes and moving materials to physically handling everything with care and staying on top of logistics. Three years later, my ex-husband had a last-minute move and, once again, 495 movers saved the day, including adding a half day to the moving schedule on short notice. Thank you, 495 movers!

The guys were fantastic. They packed about 1/2 of my belongings. I had packed a lot of it myself, but had to stop because I fell and hurt myself. They were careful and very efficient. They were extremely fast. I was pleased with them. I would recommend 495 highly.

Ron was awesome and took the time to calm me on the phone doing a very stressful time when it comes to moving! The staff called me prior to the move to explain the contract step by step which was great. The movers was very organized when it came to packing up the furniture, they were fast and very helpful during the process.
If you need to move I would strongly recommend this company because you will not be disappointed!

I’ve used them three times for various moves, and they have always been very professional and caring with the transporting of my personal belongings.

I performed a move from my 2 bedroom apartment to my new townhouse and had to have a stop at my girlfriends place to pick up some additional things. The customer service was amazing and they worked with me and explained everything so well. I will for sure us them again and recommend them to others.
For them providing moving and packing materials is amazing and so convenient. The movers came on time and they were very efficient and protected everything.

I had an overall great experience with these guys. I did a local move to their storage facility which was included before moving long distance across states. They were extremely gentle with my items, I didn’t have anything broken. Very kind interactions, very quick with their work. There was some confusion with figuring out a solid delivery date but I know that can be common. Definitely recommended.

The whole crew took great care of all of our belongings and not a single item was broken during the move. Would highly recommend

From beginning to end (estimate to final payment and everything in between), my 495 Movers Inc. team made my move easier and less traumatic. The pricing includes all moving materials (I started earlier and had already invested in some boxes and bubble wrap), a senior citizen discount, some packing assistance, special boxing for unique items, and white-glove loading and unloading. They also scheduled the movers to arrive after I arrived by plane. I saw they had moved my neighbors twice, so I called them. I secured one estimate prior to 495 Movers, then I cancelled my other appointments. And they are in the Best Picks book, so I knew I couldn't go wrong!! Wow! This cross-country move was a heavy lift, but 495 Movers made it lighter.

They were easy to deal with and got the job done for a fare price.

I had a great experience with this moving company. We moved from a one bedroom apartment in Gaithersburg to Potomac and the whole process was super easy!

The crew was awesome, super friendly worked really hard and just got things done without any issues. We had a pretty tough set up with a long walk from the back of the house to the front where the truck had to park along with stairs at the new place.

Everything was done quickly, but carefully and nothing was damaged. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I recently used 495 Movers services to move within Montgomery county in Maryland. 495 movers provided high quality service and outstanding customer service. On my first call to the company I spoke with Autum who was such a great representative of the company with her knowledge, professionalism and courtesy. Justin came to my property and surveyed my belongings and devised a plan to satisfy my unique needs. The 3 movers were very efficient and delicate in packing and responsive to my requests, and were equally helpful during the unpacking process at destination. They did thoroughly a complex task and not a single item was lost or misplaced. On top of all this great service, their fees were quite affordable. I felt I was in great hands throughout the process and they provided great value.

I moved across the city from an apartment with narrow entrances/exits and a tiny elevator to an older rowhome. The three workers (Milton and his crew of Rick and Emir) were phenomenal. Friendly, efficient, adapted to every tough part of the move without complaint; they even took out my window to get the couch into the rowhome and then replaced it immediately, which was an extra touch that I didn’t expect and was incredibly grateful for. Very reasonably priced, and the customer service was excellent; I would highly recommend

The movers were very courteous and respectful. They moved everything with ease, and even the heavy stuff was moved like it was weightless. They also wrapped up and made sure any breakable or easily damaged items were securely put in 495 boxes and packed very well. These guys are fast and I was very impressed. I was moving from Gaithersburg to Frederick. These guys arrived at the new house and my stuff put away and set up in less than an hour. I would definitely hire this company again to help me more. They did a super job. Nothing was broken or damaged. I would highly recommend 495 Movers.

I had the best experience. What is very useful is the number of boxes you can get to pack with, are unlimited and they are included with the quote that they give you, everywhere else it is 10 dollars for each box snd 20 dollars for a pack of tape. But with 495 movers you get all that included with your quote. They are also very efficient and clean and they call you 30 min before they come. I am very happy i chose them.

The main crew was fast, professional, and genuinely friendly—it made a long, stressful day feel much more manageable. The entire process was smooth from the start, including the initial quote with Josh. He was great to work with, matched a competitor’s flat rate, and even provided packing supplies ahead of our move date, which was a huge help.

We’re still unpacking, but so far everything has arrived in great condition. Our furniture was handled with care, and all the fragile items we’ve opened have been intact and well-packed. Both homes were treated respectfully, and the move was completely incident-free.
