Nathan Allison conducted a thorough analysis on deck construction area, the detailed discussion showed the diligence, conscientiousness and attention to detail on the deck design consultation. Nathan’s company Outback Deck had required certifications and license, they scheduled the onsite sales consultation in short notice and turned around the finalized pricing estimate real quick. The discussion helped me make an informed decision weighing in cost of the deck vs options for the home. Nathan also spoke to me at great length of detail about the construction process, warranty and support. Wanted to share a review of Outback Deck after nearly two-and-a-half months of engagement with them regarding our complicated deck rebuild project.

The TL;DR is we are engaged with Outback to rip out a twenty-year-old, aging two story deck that's 48x12ft and two stories tall, with the upper floor maybe 30ft+ off the ground and the lower floor 16ft below the upper.

From the start, our sales rep Scott B. was thorough, knowledgeable, and in-the-weeds engaged with helping us think through our project. Because of the size and scope, we had many, many revisions + brainstorms about how to tackle our project, and Scott hung with us every step of the way. This meant fielding questions, stopping by to work with us in person when needed, dropping off sample materials, and helping us think through the project end to end.

Mike and Ralf were great to work with. They both know decks. Kept me current on the progress while I was out of town and reviewed all concern, before and after the build.

We enjoyed getting to know our sales specialist, William! He really took the time to go over all our options with us, as we chose decking material and colors. We never felt pressured, he was quite knowledgeable about the products, was patient and very personable. He also offered his advice when we asked him and made us feel quite comfortable about our final decision. Overall, a very positive experience with William. If you call Outback, ask for Wiliam!

Great experience working with the individuals from Outback Deck. It all started with James Swanson, Solutions Specialist who presented to us our options in a professional and trustworthy manner. Being that this was our first entry into the composite deck material replacement world, we interviewed several contractor reps basically asking the same questions. James provided to us answers that made the most sense for our needs. Internally the administration process thru Emily Virkler was seamless and the appropriate paperwork was delivered as promised. The actual replacement and install component for our deck was handled by Francisco Leiva, Project Manager. We appreciated his attentiveness and responsiveness in keeping us in the loop as to key milestones as they were being completed and the timeline toward completion.
