As we moved into the design phase, it became clear that the project wouldn't fit within my budget. Instead of applying pressure (other contractors did) to close, they (John & William) openly discussed the situation and we ultimately decided to walk away amicably. This transparent and honest approach impressed me – it demonstrated their genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and building trust versus getting to building ASAP / leading to problems later on.
