Such a wonderful experience with Hospital BC from the beginning conversations with Henry to being transported back to the airport by Sal. Their team is hand curated with staff who truly care about the work they do, eachother and their patients. Beto and Louis added an additional safe, caring, responsive presence to the entire experience. Walking the halls or outdoor corridor, getting to know me and helping in anyway they can. I'm horrible with pain tolerance but Hospital BC did their best to make sure I was safe and comfortable each step of the way. I'm still in disbelief as I reflect on this experience being a week post op, how seamless everything was. The only thing is I would say is to be prepared for any additional medication cost, if they are needed at any point you are under or additional pain management after. After weeks of research on surgeons, hospitals and recovery options, I am so glad that I chose Hospital BC. Today is my last day and I travel home in the morning. I literally have ZERO bad things to say about any aspect of my Mommy Makeover surgery stay. From the moment my friend and I were picked up from the airport we were met with kindness and such a willingness to help. Dr Marciales was so kind and helped bring my vision to life. I may only be 6 days post op but I am so in love with his work. Loved my time with my lymphatic masseuse (i wish my brain would let me remember her name) but even with a language barrier she always made me feel so much relief.

From transport drivers to hospital staff, nurses, doctors, all amazing people who were able to answer every question I had and put me at ease through the entire process. The first person I met at the hospital was Beto who was friendly, comforting and able to answer all my questions. Beto made me feel safe and important throughout my stay. My surgery went extremely smooth, and when I woke up in recovery, there was a nurse by my side, already asking me about my comfort level and how I was feeling. The couch for the companion on the first night was a bit small, so prepare for that when planning their sleeping situation. Other than that, no complaints.
