I don’t write reviews often, but these guys have earned it.

I first worked with Kevin and the crew at Nettle Props a few years ago after I absolutely shredded my stainless Suzuki prop out on Baffin Bay. I figured it was toast. What they handed back to me looked - and performed - like something brand new. Honestly, it felt like watching someone bring a prop back from the dead. That kind of work doesn’t happen without real skill and pride in the craft.

Fast forward to this week, and Kevin helped me get dialed in with a new prop setup aimed at improving hole shot while getting my RPMs where they should be. He didn’t just sell me something off the shelf - he talked through the setup, the tradeoffs, and what would actually perform best for how I run my boat. You can tell immediately he knows his stuff, but more importantly, he cares about getting it right.

I've been getting my props repaired here for 20+ years. I used to drop them off at my local boat dealership, but it was bought out and closed down. So I had the privilege of speaking directly with the owner when I needed my prop repaired this time and decided to go ahead and purchase a new one as a primary and will be sending my old one in to be repaired for a backup. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with picking out a new prop since my 26 year old one has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The new prop was on sale for almost $200 less than the manufacturer sells it for and they also give you a $125 discount on your next prop repair with the purchase of a new one. Thanks again for helping me get my boat ready for the summer.

Prop was repaired as quoted time. They are very knowledgeable about performance issues. Quality seems to be excellent. The only disappointment was I assumed it would be polished after repairs to same finish as prior damage. However, understand that's an extra expense which I definitely didn't need. Overall very satisfied with workmanship and customer service. Will highly recommend.
