Nettle Props has been a family owned business for 54 years and have been providing quality marine propeller sales and repair service for 40 years in Austin and Central Texas. We also provide service throughout the United States and around the world through our internet sales. Our full service repair facility is capable of repairs on stainless steel, aluminum, bronze and nibral propellers. We offer welding services on lower units, skegs, cavitation plates, aluminum boats, pontoon boats, ski towers and automotive parts. We also offer wholesale pickup and delivery to Central Texas dealers and marinas each week. We look forward to doing business with you and we value our customers. I honestly can’t say enough about how amazing the team at Nettle Props is. JT and Kevin truly get what great customer service means — they go above and beyond, and it really shows.
I bought a new prop from them in June 2025, and after just a few months, one of the blades broke. I walked in fully expecting to pay for a replacement, but JT and Kevin took one look, explained what they thought had happened (a possible casting issue), and got right on the phone with the manufacturer while I was standing there.
Within minutes, they had it all handled — the manufacturer agreed it was covered under warranty, and I walked out with a brand-new prop in hand. No hassle, no excuses — just genuine people doing the right thing.

It’s rare these days to find folks who truly care about their customers, but these guys absolutely do. They even took the time to explain everything...

I deal with nettles propeller all the time because of their friendly and knowledgeable services. My choice is Powertech four blades for shallow water flats fishing, and duck hunting.
