Vets on the Hudson

This vet is the absolute best! They always try to make our kittens as comfortable as possible, and now our cats don’t mind going to the vet anymore. You can make appointments or ask questions in a variety of different ways (text, email, phone calls) and they are incredibly fast with their response time. We definitely ask a lot of questions and they are always willing to help. The staff are all very kind and attentive, and we are always brought back to a room in a timely manner. Dr. Melda Gjokaj is a fantastic vet. She is always very friendly, answers our questions thoroughly, and is wonderful with our kittens. This office is always very upfront with pricing as well, and they always show us an itemized receipt before we pay for anything. I would recommend this vet to anyone. You can tell that everyone that works here really loves animals and cares about their patients.

As a first time pet owner, I wanted to make sure my Shih tzu got the best care. Since I made the appointment they have been so nice and attentive. Arriving to the appointment I felt nervous didn’t know what to expect but everyone exceeded my expectations! They were all so sweet with Belle and Jen made me feel comfortable seeing her interaction with Belle.

I cannot recommend Dr. Gjokaj and her team highly enough! I have two cats and they treat my little family like their own. Their vet techs are also incredible, especially Jennifer. Dr. Gjokaj has given my cats the most thorough exams I’ve ever seen at a vet and for that, I will always come back.

Everyone at Vets on the Hudson truly loves animals and wants the best for your pet! Our dog Ralphie gets incredibly nervous at the vet. But the staff is always so patient and listens to our instructions to make it as stress free as possible. We’ve even done some happy visits and they’re so accommodating!

They also make it convenient to text or email any inquiries about any issues your pet may be having. The team here is great and we wish them nothing but success :)

I take my dog to Vets on the Hudson. Dr. Gjokaj is fantastic. She takes her time when evaluating, examining and answering any questions. When I fostered a puppy last year, she even offered to help find her a home which is going above and beyond. Her whole team is super caring and attentive. It shows that they truly love and care about animals. I'm very happy that I found them!

I am grateful every day to have found Dr. Gjokaj and her amazing team at Vets on the Hudson. The office is modern, clean, efficient and everyone is so warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They love my pups and always go above and beyond to make sure they have the most stress-free experience possible. Even though Dr. G is one of the most sought after vets in the area, the team somehow manages to run the schedule so well, there’s never much of a wait. I have an 11 year old pug who has suffered with allergies and arthritis for years that is absolutely thriving under Dr. G’s care. I also have a very anxious mini-dachshund that actually gets excited to go to her well visits. If I could give this office 10 stars, I would. I cannot recommend Dr. G and Vets on the Hudson highly enough.

Dr. Gjokaj is an excellent vet. She takes lots of time to answer all of my questions. She is gentle and caring with my cats and seems to absolutely love her work. Her staff is equally lovely. They are pleasant, polite, and always responsive. They greet you with a smile and treat my cats as if they were their own. I cannot recommend them more highly.

We take both of our dogs to Vets on the Hudson & have had the best experiences here! Dr. Gjokaj & her entire team are extremely kind, attentive, and well versed in their practice. This is by far the best Vet we have ever been to & we couldn’t be more pleased with their services here! 10/10!!

Vets on the Hudson is amazing! All the staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. I take our four cats here and each one has been treated with professionalism, love and care. Our eldest has had a multitude of medical issues, each of which are being treated very well. All of my questions are answered promptly with follow up questions also answered thoroughly (and trust me, I ask a lot!). The office itself is clean and the staff on reception are friendly and super efficient with appointments and billing. My only complaint is that I wish I had found them sooner!

Since the first time I stepped into this place I was greeted by the friendly front staff. As I keep going here I love it more and more. The doctor is so attentive , friendly, patient and so caring. The entire staff that works there are all very friendly and extremely helpful. I am a very very picky pet parent and I’m very anxious about my dogs health but with this office they put me at ease because I see they take care of my Oakley like if he was part of their family . I travel out of my way just to see them because trust is important when it comes to treatments, and I truly trust every single person in here. They are always available and willing to help with anything. 10/10 will recommend! Not to mention Super Clean facility , immaculate all the time.

Vets on the Hudson has been a Godsend! They are the most professional and kindest people! We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our pup! We are beyond happy with their guidance, patience and care for our puppy! Highly recommend to everyone!

As a first-time dog owner, I can’t thank Dr. Gjokaj and Lucia enough for their incredible care and support in figuring out what was causing my dog’s chronic diarrhea. Over the past few months, they’ve provided so much helpful advice and always taken the time to explain everything clearly, which has been invaluable for someone new to pet care.

This is a wonderful place that really takes care of your pet. They have great people and the Dr is just great. Their staff is incredibly friendly, they care about each and every patient (and owner), they respond incredibly fast, they make time for emergencies, they always remember to check in- literally they are the BEST team I could imagine.
