I had an amazing experience with top dog training, my dog came home about a week ago & he is doing amazing with his placement training & potty training im astonished with the 3 weeks difference but all i can say is thank yall for everything!

It was very wonderful to know our boys were in good hands. They are doing much better😊

Top dog training did a wonderful job with my dog. He’s still technically a puppy and has play in him but I do see a change in my dog after coming home from training. The most important part is to make sure you continue the training at home. She also said she would come to my home and assist with getting him additional training if. Not sure if it’s an additional cost for her to come to the home. Ok, another thing I enjoyed was the weekly update which consisted of a video to see his weekly progress. My husband is really happy with the results.

This is our second go round with Top Dog Training Academy…That should say enough in itself…Our 7 month old European Doberman Kane is our third Doberman to be trained by the best at Top Dog!!! Before training we could only have one dog at a time in our home and that was very frustrating!!! We now can have both of our babies inside with us…Kane graduated today from a 3 week Obedience and Off Leash Board N’ Train…It’s amazing what they learn in just three weeks…COME, SIT, PLACE, DOWN, LEAVE IT, OFF, HEEL, BREAK, NO JUMPING & DOOR MANNERS as well as PUBLIC MANNERS…They also get to go on field trips!!!

An absolutely amazing group of people that have a passion for dogs and enjoy spending time with them. My boys are always well taken care of at the optimum level and have an amazing time. Mrs. Cherrie, Clay, and Sam are THE BEST!

I recently enrolled our one year old hound dog in the board and train program, and the experience was great from start to finish. She not only learned essential basic skills and improved listening, but truly seemed to enjoy the process. The structured training was balanced with fun and engagement, which made all the difference.

Our dog came home with a solid foundation in basic skills, improved listening, and a noticeably better understanding of how to behave both at home and in new environments.

What stood out most was the connection our dog made with the trainer, Sam. You could tell there was real trust and understanding between them. Sam was incredibly tuned in to our dog’s needs and personality while reinforcing boundaries and respectful behavior. It was clear that this approach made our dog feel more secure, confident, and at-ease.

Top Dog Training did a great job with our Black Mouth Cur, Leon. We live on 30+ acres that isn't fenced in. Leon had a tendency to leave our property and go exploring on his on. After 3 weeks of training, he stays closer to the house, listens to commands and has a greater ability to stay on task. Great job, Top Dog.

Great job Top Dog Training Academy. They worked with Leon, our Black Mouth Cur that would wander off our 30+ acres that isn't fenced to go on adventures alone. Leon is a good dog but had ZERO discipline. After 3 weeks at Top Dog, he is noticeably different. He stays closer to the house, follows commands and is restrained around our 2 cats. Sherrie stressed that we would need to continue working with him to keep him focused and in line. It was well worth the investment.

We had a 6 month Boxer that was a nightmare. He has transformed in 3 weeks. Cherie and her team of trainers did a great job with him. He is finally a welcomed delight rather than a stressful monster! Thank you for your hardwork!

I HIGHLY recommend TOP DOG TRAINING ACADEMY for obedience and/or aggression training. We did the 3 week boarding and training program at Top Dog Training Academy of Louisiana with our golden retriever puppy (6.5 months old) and have used them in the past for dog aggression training for our catahoula. All of the trainers and owner are extremely professional and know what they are doing. They genuinely LOVE animals and make sure they learn the individual dog and focus on the best way to improve their actions. Whereas, I have been through a group obedience class with another dog trainer, while it was great for socialization, I didn’t feel like it focused on my dog’s individual needs. Top Dog will do that! Whatever your needs are for your pup, they will meet them BEYOND MEASURE!!! I was so nervous and did not know if this was going to be worth the money the first time we came to them,...

Top Dog Training made us feel like our babies were their babies. Treated with discipline and love our babies love them as well. Training is/was well done and continues if we have questions or need guidance with our babies. We use them for boarding as well and get regular updates and pictures. We love them !!

My wife and I are very pleased with the results of both of our dogs. When they returned home, we were amazed at the obedience and calmness they both had. I can’t say enough amazing things about Top Dog and our incredible trainers, Cherrie and Sam! My golden retriever, Maverick, was a wild boy—so hyper, never sat still, and thought our arms were chew toys every time we sat on the couch. I honestly didn’t think anything could calm him down.

I don’t know what magic Cherrie and Sam worked, but they truly know how to train dogs. Maverick is a completely different boy now—he listens so well, is calmer, and is so much more enjoyable to be around. The difference is unbelievable, and I know Maverick before training would never behave like this.
