We had the opportunity to work with the home inspector, Kyle. He was detailed before the start of the inspection on how he would be conducting the whole process. He was very thorough during the whole inspection. From what I noticed, Kyle went through every space of the house and informed me of any defects, both major and minor. Great work and I will definitely recommend.

As a realtor in the state of CT for 3 years now, I couldn’t be more excited to use Sherwood Inspection Services for my own purchase. I’ve seen 100 plus inspections that they’ve done and I can say without a doubt they are the biggest bang for your buck. The purchase of real estate is often a 30 year or lifetime purchase, you really shouldn’t hesitate to use SIS! They’ll find issues but also educate on how you can maintain your property going forward! Go go go with Sherwood, no doubt.

We had scheduled a home inspection with Sherwood Inspection Services. They were recommended to us by our realtor as we did not have a great background for choosing home inspectors. We were very pleased with the attention to detail, quality of the report, and the amount of time that our inspector dedicated to us! She discovered many items which we did not recognize during our visits to the home. Some of the items were minor repairs, while others were major. Fortunately for us we were able to learn about all of that early on so we were able to ask the seller for a repair plan. Unfortunately the seller was not willing to work with us, but at least we had legal grounds to terminate our buying agreement and get our deposit refunded!

Great experience with Jeremy as first time home buyers. Will happily recommend to future friends and family looking for home inspectors in the future. The report was incredibly thorough and the turn around was quick.

I had such a great experience. I bought a 1784 home in Northampton, MA, and didn’t really know anything about buying a home. The inspectors took their time and literally inspected every inch of the house and didn’t miss anything. It was also an I formative experience as a first time home buyer. The inspectors were really nice, too.
I just called again because I am purchasing my second property in Amherst, MA. It was 8:30 pm and I was able to speak to a rep who was able to schedule an appointment for a few days later!
The price is right for this quality.

Chris was very professional and answered all of my questions. He was detailed in his report and also got the report to me promptly. Plus he does termites and structural at the same time. I highly recommend!!

Let me start by saying this was my first home inspection, but the bar has been set very high. I'm not sure if anyone else does this, but our inspector Jeremy came with water bottles and snacks and explained everything the way an inspector would understand, and then dumbed it down for those of us not in the business. He was very thorough, explained everything before he even did it extremely well, overall I think he did a phenomenal job and I would recommend him and Sherwood 110%!

I had a wonderful inspector, Andre from West Haven. He did an amazing job of looking through every nook and cranny... I felt my money was well spent. He had already completed his inspection on outside of house before I arrived for the appt. He was very kind, very knowledgeable, he even brought snacks and cold bottled water....joked with him to bring fresh fruit...I would recommend Sherwood Inspection Services, if your lucky, you'll get Andre and have the same great experience...ok now I think he needs a raise..hahaha....
