Super technician very professional also on time.

The inspector Roger was early and very thorough with explaining everything. He spent 2 hours checking the house from top to bottom and explained everything, answering all questions. He was polite, personable, and knowledgeable. Then he told me when the report would be ready and explained any expected delays for information concerning testing etc. Overall excellent and I would recommend him. The company is great to deal with too - very easy to schedule.

My inspector, James, was an absolute delight to work with! I asked a hundred questions and he gave me all the answers! He was very knowledgeable and I feel very confident in my new home purchase!

Andre, did an excellent inspection of my home. The appointment was set for 9am and he was there before I got there which is amazing, that by itself told a lot about his character and I was right .He was very punctual. He answered all my questions that during the inspection, he is very knowledgeable and he knew what he was doing. He was dress professionally he was very courteous and respectful and professional. As a military veteran I was very impressed by Andre and I don't say that very often about people I meet. I would recommend Andre to anyone who needs a home inspection.

We had the opportunity to work with the home inspector, Kyle. He was detailed before the start of the inspection on how he would be conducting the whole process. He was very thorough during the whole inspection. From what I noticed, Kyle went through every space of the house and informed me of any defects, both major and minor. Great work and I will definitely recommend.

As a realtor in the state of CT for 3 years now, I couldn’t be more excited to use Sherwood Inspection Services for my own purchase. I’ve seen 100 plus inspections that they’ve done and I can say without a doubt they are the biggest bang for your buck. The purchase of real estate is often a 30 year or lifetime purchase, you really shouldn’t hesitate to use SIS! We had scheduled a home inspection with Sherwood Inspection Services. They were recommended to us by our realtor as we did not have a great background for choosing home inspectors. We were very pleased with the attention to detail, quality of the report, and the amount of time that our inspector dedicated to us! She discovered many items which we did not recognize during our visits to the home. Some of the items were minor repairs, while others were major. Fortunately for us we were able to learn about all of that early on so we were able to ask the seller for a repair plan. Unfortunately the seller was not willing to work with us, but at least we had legal grounds to terminate our buying agreement and get our deposit refunded!

I had such a great experience. I bought a 1784 home in Northampton, MA, and didn’t really know anything about buying a home. The inspectors took their time and literally inspected every inch of the house and didn’t miss anything. It was also an I formative experience as a first time home buyer. The inspectors were really nice, too.
I just called again because I am purchasing my second property in Amherst, MA. It was 8:30 pm and I was able to speak to a rep who was able to schedule an appointment for a few days later!
The price is right for this quality.
