One of the two air conditioning units in our home was not functioning properly for the last couple of years. A few companies have given us outrageous estimates, that were in the thousands. I left him a voicemail after listening to his message to his potential new customers. He arrived at our home 30 minutes later. Bryan is great, my A/C went out on a Saturday evening and he came out that night and fixed it. I called 5 different large A/C companies that night on there emergency number and none of them would come out until the next morning. I highly recommend this company for any A/C service needed. After reading several positive reviews online about this company we decided to give them a call to see if they can end our ac problems once and for all. We have had issues with our ac unit for a year and a half now with a number of companies coming out to “repair” our system only for it to fail within a couple of months. Most recently we were told we needed to replace our entire system because it was too old and there was no chance of repairing our “huge leak”. We decided to get a second opinion and came across Sherlock Homes. We gave them a call and scheduled an appointment for the very next day! I was very surprised because 1. It was a holiday (4th of July) and 2. It was an evening appointment (which my husband and I prefer because we are so busy during the day). Wow! I can’t say enough good things about this company! Our AC went out late in the evening on a Sunday night. I was able to get in contact with Bryan and Sherlock Homes quickly and he was able to come out the same night. He worked late into the night/early morning to repair and get our system up and running! He was so knowledgeable and patient, spent extra time, even though it was late, to make sure the system was working properly. I don’t know when he finds time to sleep! He really saved us, I had a sleeping two year old in the house and needed our AC working during these hot summer days. Other companies were scheduling days out. We woke up to our A/C continuously blowing air without any results. Of course, it was a Friday with a forecasted temperature in the high 90’s. Our home warranty stated that their service provider had until the next business day to contact us and set up service. Did I mention it was a Friday?!?! Bryan was knowledgeable, professional, exceedingly respectful. We appreciated the fact that he wore his mask, AND shoe covers, when entering our home to service the AC. We had never seen anyone go that far to protect our health/home and we had barely met. When consulting with us on the repair, he told us that there was a chance that there was a warranty on the part. He took it upon himself to call the manufacturer and deal with them on our behalf to secure the part and install it in the SAME DAY. If I already have a review, oops; but I wanted to make certain Bryan got the recognition he deserved for saving us from the “big fleet” companies. Yes I did have a scheduled appointment with a “big fleet” company that day but they couldn’t give me a time frame. We had been without a/c for a day +. In south Texas, that’s an eternity. We couldn’t wait so we called Sherlock. He explained he had just taken off on a call but could be here in 2 hours. He got to the house earlier than expected, explained the problem & gave us options.
