Let me tell you Sherlock was the 4th AC person I hired! When I knew my AC had problems I Sought out big names in AC businesses, their estimates were overpriced and going into unchartered territory with different kinds of systems, my house was built in 1920’s! So I went w/referrals from my investor friends, their referrals could not do the job the job, it was way above their heads, but they rigged the system anyway without letting you know it was beyond them !!Matter of fact my New systems, (I have two AC systems) that where newly installed from Former companies were being strained ! During the summer of 2019 I had an ac company come out to service my unit, for it was not staying on. They told me it was clogged and needed cleaning which they did. However, they also told me I needed a new unit outside because it won't last another summer and was not worth trying to repair if it were to go down again which they said will definitely happen. Fast forward to this summer (2020) guess what? System goes down as predicted. I call said company and they say it needs to be replaced upon reviewing previous notes.... I call a major repair company to come "fix it" and tech looks at it and says "oh thats an old unit we can't even touch that because if it's damaged they are liable. Gave me a "free quote" that I need a new unit which would be around $5,000!!
