Today, I had a root canal procedure with Dr. David Pokras. The highest level of professionalism of the doctor and his assistants Therese and Jade was above and beyond all expectations. I was feeling nothing but comfort and care during the procedure. Now I can say with a confidence I know what a state of the art dentistry is. Thanks a lot doctor, Therese and Jade.

From the front desk where Dawn, Karina, Stephanie worked to get me the ability to be scheduled on very short notice, greeted me and had great follow up, to the polite, kind and friendly dental assistants and technicians Nelly and Tanya, right down to Dr. Pokras and his promptness, pleasant demeanor and con concern for my comfort.

Excellent experience and root canal are not usually paired together. I’ve had 2 root canals previously and was not looking forward to going into another. Dr. T and his staff Dawn, Velvet, and Angela went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and pain free the entire appointment. My nerves were settled quickly and Dr. T constantly checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay. I highly recommend this office if you are in need of a root canal. I left my appointment and went to volunteer at my sons school with nothing more than a numb mouth. 10/10 would recommend.

I have always had a positive experience when having a root canal procedure done by Dr. Pokris. Along with the caring and professional staff that make one feel relaxed and confident, Dr. Pokris does a painless and thorough procedure. He explains things for a patient to understand and continues to assure that his patient is comfortable. I attended this endodontic practice with a severe infection deep into my jaw. I was in terrible pain. The saw me immediately & as it was so late in the day they could not start the required procedure. So beautiful Dr. Kang anaesthetised me to give me relief & brought me back first thing the next morning & drained my infection. I was super unwell & was vomiting & the dental nurse Courtney could not have been more kind & gentle with me when I felt so vulnerable.
Karina & Jasmine on the front desk all rallied round in support of me to come to my aid & showed me such kindness & care. I could not recommend this practice highly enough. My husband also attends the clinic too. Further to this level of care, a follow up call came the next morning to check in on me to make sure I was ok. I am so grateful to the team for their expertise & skills....

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at their Simi Valley location. I experienced an issue during a root canal with my dentist. I needed a specialist. My daughter contacted SCEG for me and spoke with Dawn. She was so friendly and accommodating I got in quickly and they took care of finishing my root canal. She put my mind at ease.
Dr Kang did the work. She explained what the process would be. It was painless. She is awesome. The next day I received a follow up call from Dr Kang checking in on me!
I will definitely be back when I need work and will be recommending them to my friends.

I visited Dr. Kang and her team of the most caring professionals encountered. My dentist highly recommended this office and I understand why. My procedure, a root canal, was completed the same day as the referral. I was terrified. No one ever says anything positive about a root canal. Getting a root canal is never fun, but these folks are the friendliest staff of any doctor’s office I can remember... especially Kris and Trina in reception!

I have had some horrific experiences at the dentist. So much so, I have avoided the dentist like the plague...until I needed a root canal. I have to say the staff at SCEG made me feel comfortable right when I walked into the door. Dr. Kang, Joelly, Lucia and Xen put my mind at ease right away. Dr. Kang was incredibly sensitive to my past experiences. For the first time, I wasn’t uncomfortable or didn’t experience pain of some kind. If you have had bad experiences at the dentist I highly recommend Dr. Kang and the staff at SCEG! They truly have the patients best interest at heart!

I can’t say enough about the care and efficiency my wife and I experienced at So Cal Endodontic Group. In particular, the open arms we received from Dawn, Joelly and Dr. Kang. I should have known it would be a great visit just from having my initial conversation on the phone with Dawn about my wife’s infection. Her patience to listen and assist was unlike most offices we’ve been to. It was our first visit. I was referred to SCEG for a root canal by my dentist and I am so grateful for them! They were able to fit me in for an appointment same day as I truly had so much discomfort and pain on one of my tooth. Dr. Kang and staff including Joelly and Dawn were very welcoming, friendly and exceptionally professional. Dr. Kang explained the process to me thoroughly and made me feel calm during the root canal procedure. It’s only been a day since the procedure and I truly am feeling so much better and thankful they were able to see me right away. Toothache is no joke.

The staff could not have done more to get me set up, take the X-ray images and meet with Doctor Trnavsky D.D.S. to review my issues. I just had the most incredible Dental experience in the history of going to the Dentist in the past 35 years. SCEG was awesome on so many levels. First, the way the office operates. Everybody knows what they are doing and it shows. From Dawn, the office Manager to Alicia, and, of course Dr. Ghahraman. One of the most important things to me was to Avoid Pain. The entire team provided this for like nothing I have ever experienced. I received a total of FIVE shots, and Dr. Ghahraman made sure of that. One of the things I always look for when I go to any business is how do the employees treat each other. This office treat each other so well and warm, that I can feel that I will also be treated with that kind of warmth and Kindness.

I had terrible pain from an root canal gone bad and abscess. The group got me in pretty quick, Dr. Kang gave advice and a plan of care. She provided tactics to ease my pain. A couple days later the root canal fixed, infection clearing. It's not easy having someone so close to your face but the whole group eas such a comfort. Dental work can be expensive but I left feeling good and it was worth every penny.

I found the hold staff wonderful. Dr Pokras made my fear of the Dental procedure so comforting. Gisselle was so tender and helped any fright I had easy for me. I would recommend all my friends family to this office. God Bless You All. Hope I don’t have to see you to soon. But would be glad to return.

Dr. Roya Ghahraman and her assistant, Julia worked together like two peas in a pod. They were in sync, had chemistry and made me feel comfortable with explanations all throughout my procedure. I appreciated them treating me like I was their most important customer of the day as I’m sure they do with all of their patients. Trina at the front desk made it a point know me by name and reassure me that I was in good hands. She was right. Thanks for easing my anxiety enough to get through the root canal!!!
