Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Beautiful campground in a peaceful setting. I’ve been to many campgrounds, but Askew’s Landing truly captures the spirit of a real camping experience. You can feel it the moment you arrive: people outside enjoying nature, kayaking on the lake, fishing, soaking up the sun, and smiles everywhere.

To top it off, Askew’s has some of the kindest and most attentive staff I’ve encountered. All of my questions were answered promptly, and they went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

2.5 miles down a dirt road, this is the kind of campground that I wished I could find every time I stop for the night.

Great place to stay, clean laundry, bathrooms, and showers. Beautiful pool and pond. Family friendly and very accommodating.

We went this past weekend for our second annual jeep take over!! We had a blast as usual. I stayed in the cabin this year and it was so nice !! We love the staff there and the campers !!

We had the absolute best time!!! Staff was AMAZING, the store has everything you can think of if you forget something, the glamping tents are in the best most secluded spot and super freaking cute, the shower house and bathroom were always clean. We didn’t want to leave and can not wait to come back!! Next visit is already in the plans.

First time camping here March 13-15 and we absolutely enjoyed it. Came for the Jeep event and have already started making plans to come back. Staff was absolutely amazing and campground was beautiful.

I cant comment on rooms because we brought our camper. This will be our second stay. It feels better than home! So relaxing! Beautiful landscape. We came for Jeep takeover weekend. Wonderful service. Great food trucks. We brought our dog this time and we enjoyed the dog park twice! We also loved feeding the geese. So much fun with friends and family.

Driving through the south, I had a pleasant one-night stay. Askew’s is a great place for the night (or even longer if you can) as there were several family-friendly activities taking place. Campground was conveniently off I20 set back about 2.5 miles so it was quiet.
The night skies were beautiful and the staff is so welcoming.

We arrived after dark and we're welcomed with great service. We were escorted to our campsite and given all the instructions we needed. The owner also came by to welcome us. We could tell this was a special location but we're even more impressed in the morning when the sun came up. This end of the road place was especially beautiful with the morning haze across the lake. We would definitely stop by again. Highly recommend it if you are in the area.

Askew's Landing RV Campground is a great place. Easy access, VERY friendly staff and the setting is awesome.

Beautiful wooded setting off the beaten path with lake pool and geese!
Not enough restrictions for animals. Need more signs to clean up after animals. More garbage sites for the cleanup needed. And keep pets on leashes.

Really lovely place. We were passing through for the night on i20 but would have gladly stayed to enjoy the beautiful property had we planned to stay in the area longer.

Wonderful RV park right off the interstate but you would never know it. Excellent staff and great park with a lake and pond. Will definitely stay there again when we travel this way.

Surprisingly lovely RV park tucked into a beautiful natural area. Good spacing between spots, level, and easy to maneuver around. Clean shower/toilet rooms and other amenities to make this a place I hope to return to for a longer stay!

Quiet in-the-woods campground. I stayed for two nights when I had only planned for one night. Sandi at office was very accommodating to what I needed.
I will mention that their WIFI didn't have adequate coverage, but Sandi suggested I could go to the office pavilion and use the internet when needed.
The ownership needs to look into this!
Bottom line, I normally don't do reviews, but this is a great place I recommend.
