Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Very nice place. Sites 44 and 43 get way too much water after a down pour. Avoid them. Otherwise, a lovely spot, nice small lake, plenty of things to do.

Such a beautiful little hidden gem

Stayed in our travel trailer with full hook ups. The property is absolutely stunning with a lake and a pond. My kids loved the pool and the park and the wide open spaces. We were in town for a wedding in Vicksburg and it was about a 35 min drive to the waterfront. Such a lovely spot and we will be staying here again! Beautiful, peaceful property with lovely people running the show.

We called while on the road and was lucky enough to get a spot. It has quite a few spots (way more than expected), some had pads and some were on grass, but still great spots. This was a great camp grounds. The price was very good, $38, water and 50 amp, we didnt need sewer, but they do have it. It's about 2.5 miles off I-20, but relatively easy to get to. It has a nice little lake and playground, with lots of room for pets, a nice little store. The folks that run it were very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay here again, would even stay here for a few days just to kick back and relax. The best kept secret in Mississippi!!!

We stayed for two nights while visiting nearby Vicksburg. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided: full hookups, a reasonably level site, clean facilities, two dog parks, a pond, and a well-maintained pool—all in a lovely rural setting. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is not a new or elegant campground, but it provides value for its cost.

To me, the biggest negative is a a narrow road entering the campground that entering traffic has the right of way. We didn’t have an issue, but it looked like a potential concern.

What a beautiful, peaceful place to camp! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a beautiful, serene spot, tucked away in nature, far off the road, but easy to get to. There is a lovely small lake with geese and beautiful grassy fields surrounded by gorgeous trees. The Office is nice and offers some sundries, including snacks. There is a lovely swimming pool for the summer time, and a nice separate shower/bathroom building that has 3 separate (private/secure) good sized shower/toilet/sink rooms complete with ceiling fans, stand alone heaters and benches. The staff are so friendly and helpful. A very kind gentleman guided us in to our spot, and even loaded our propane tanks onto his golf cart while we set up camp.
He filled them and returned the tanks to us very quickly. That night there was a nice big communal camp fire where...

1/2 way between Jackson and Vicksburg but full of country amenities. Great place to stay. Quiet. Friendly. Fishing, kayaking, paddle boats or just sit and enjoy nature. I would definitely consider a return visit! I didn’t take any pics other than my camp fire, but who doesn’t love a nice campfire when visiting with friends!

Tucked into a true outdoor paradise, this spot has everything — a huge dog park with separate areas for big and little pups (our crew was obsessed), on-site laundry, a peaceful pond and lake, a playground for the kids, and one of the most stunning pools overlooking the water that we’ve ever seen.
The sites are reliable, the freeze-protected hydrants are a huge plus for winter travel, and the staff? Truly some of the nicest we’ve encountered anywhere on the road.
Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful sunsets that don’t even look real.

We stayed two nights in our Class C and honestly wish we would’ve stayed longer. Askew’s Landing is one of those places that makes RV life feel easy — and a must-stop if you’re passing through Edward’s.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. It’s a beautiful place and I told my husband we need to come back sometime and bring our friends.

Nice Campground centrally located between Jackson and Vicksburg. Charlotte and Sandy were friendly and very helpful.

Stopped for one night on our way across the country in late February. A quiet and peaceful spot with good amenities. We’d stay again.

Great little campground. We had an issue but it was taken care of swiftly and it looks like they wanted to make it right.

We stopped here as a overnight stop and enjoyed it very much. The owners were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Jason even delivered our firewood to us. We were kind of sad we were only staying a day but will definitely stay again on your next trip through and maybe stay a couple extra days just to relax.

Great Campground- got in late tired off highway, they guided us to the site and boss came down when login wouldn't work.

Lovely small RV spot within easy reach of I20. Folks are super nice. The place is clean with a capital C. Nice private shower rooms. Beautiful pines and a lake make it shady.

Everything was perfect. The people the serviced the location. The atmosphere is just perfect. Hope to be back soon.

I was amazed by all the attractions it has to offer. Beautiful view with ponds, horses, corral, ducks, doggie walk, ect. It's definitely a one of a kind resort.

We really enjoyed our stay at Askew’s Landing RV Campground. It’s a beautiful, well-maintained campground with plenty of amenities — playgrounds, showers, laundry, a pool, and a large pond. Our kids had a great time exploring and playing around. The host was very friendly and guided us to our site when we arrived. We only stayed one night because of the weather, but we definitely would’ve loved to stay longer!

Great first stay, wont be our last! Peaceful country setting not far from interstate 20. Staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful! Our site in Magnolia A was full hookup, level and no complaints at all about the site. There are many sites with partial hookups and I found the easy access dump station in case I choose one of those sites next time. The ponds are beautiful and folks were catching fish. The dog runs are fabulous! Plenty of room and activities to play around with in there. We joined several activities offered and again, just can’t say enough how great all the staff were!! My girl played a lot with the small playground/basketball area. Tetherball, giant Jenga and the like would be a fun addition there.
