Askew’s Landing RV Campground

We stayed one night on our trip through on the Natchez Trace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The park was clean and we had plenty of space. The park is easy to get to from I20. I would not hesitate to stay at this campground again.

This place really is a hidden gem. So, so peaceful!

Askew’s Landing RV campground invited us to come cook over the weekend. Your Mommas Home Cookin is the name of the food trailer and to be completely honest, we have fell in love with The best kept secret in Mississippi. The view is completely gorgeous. The staff is outstanding. Everyone greet you with a smile. Completely recommend taking your vacation here and relaxing and enjoying life. Thanks for having us.

A little bit off the highway, but a beautiful setting around a lake. Friday evening and Saturday they had food trucks for the guest.
We had a problem with our slides not going in, they gave us several mobile RV tech's. But unable to get any to come on Saturday, finally messed around and got them in. They were working with us to stay another day, but able to leave.
Would highly recommend the park.

This place is Beautiful. The people and staff are the best. Everyone is so kind and friendly and will help with anything they can. It is definitely a place we plan to come back to many times..

We stayed in the 2-bedroom cabin from Sunday 4/19/26 through Friday 4/24/26. We were hosts of the Campers for Christ Spring Rally. We had at least 5 changes that we had to make, with probably 20 phone calls made to the front office. The staff (Sandy and Charlotte) were always kind, professional and a joy to work with. The owner, Craig, spent Tuesday morning with us in the pavilion and spoke about his ministry to Nepal. He challenged us to grow in our faith with ACTION, but I digress. The pavilion was a great place to have our daily meetings. It has seating tables with chairs, a long table suitable for serving food (we had a potluck dinner each night) and is well lit for nighttime use.
We had a wonderful time at Askew's! It has a beautiful, large and natural setting with about 90 sites available.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot! And the people are so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed I so much we stayed another day and hated the leave. We'll be back for sure!

This is a nice kept secret 🙊 This campground is worth the stop even if out of your way. We stayed one night and we wish we stayed longer. It will be on our list to visit in the future.

Just minutes away from downtown Vicksburg this campground is a great jumping off point to explore the area. Beautifully maintained and super friendly staff made our stay exceptional! Parking in "The Field" is great for big rigs like ours. Easy in and out.

We took our youth group (12-17 year olds) last month. They had the best time! Some were fishing, others swimming, and the rest were on the kayaks and paddle boards. We just went for the day but are planning on renting the cabin sometime soon. The campground was beautiful and very well maintained. The workers were nice and extremely helpful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Askew's for ALL ages!

We rented the cabin here. It was clean and comfortable. The park is a beautiful relaxing place! And you can fish, rent a kayak or paddle boat and swim in the pool. We loved it!!

Such a great little campground, beautiful lake and nice spread out RV spots. Cleanest showers I've seen in a campground from Texas to Tennessee! I tent camped and had a wonderful sunrise over a foggy lake view. I will definitely return!

This was most definitely a hideaway stay. Plenty of room to park our 5th wheel and truck. The dog park was perfect for our two labs, a lot of room and tons of grass. A morning walk with our coffee and labs was so somber. If not for some low hanging branches on the city street exit road I would give Askew’s a five star. We were able to drive wide around. Looking forward to our next time here.

A little a slice of heaven. I loved this place so much I almost wanted to leave a bad review so others won’t find it! All kidding aside, if you get the chance to stay DO IT!!

Beautiful, quiet, spacious campground in an amazing setting. Nice place to walk, dog park, fishing pond, and nice people.

Askew’s Landing was wonderful. Peaceful, scenic, clean throughout. Facilities are rustic yet well appointed. Nice store and fun amenities as well. We had site 72 which was secluded, on a point on the lake. Absolutely beautiful and will return if ever through the area again. We were passing through on way out to Utah and decided to stay an extra day, we were so impressed.

We always enjoy our time here. The staff is friendly and always there to help if you need anything. There is always something to do here, you can fish in the lake, cool off in the pool, or just sit lakeside side and take it all in.

My husband has his RV, parked there due to work and we absolutely love it. Quiet spacious no one ever bothers you. The staff is so friendly great place to walk the dogs. Got a swimming pool love watching the ducks. It is just overall the greatest place with very very open walking . you can go fishing it is awesome.

This a beautiful, large campground with good amenities and a great staff. One of the highligts of our trip so far! Loved it! We camped, we did not stay in a room.
