This place is beautiful. Very well kept RV Park. The staff is incredibly helpful.and friendly.

One of our all time favorites. We will go back every year on our way from Tx to Florida. You really need to stay here 3 days. Vicksburg is 14 miles from here. The campground is so spacious, set among horse ranches and magnolia trees. Only 3 to 4 miles off I20. It is even a beautiful ride from I 20 to the campgrounds. Everything is well maintained and the staff are extremely nice. Great place for 4 legged family members as well. Big dog park separated for large and small dogs and lots of space in the campground to walk or play frisbee. Nice pool for adults and kids to play. It’s a very safe area and no traffic noise. I can go on and on, but you really need to it yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Quiet medium sized park by a large pond and surrounded by woods. Ducks, geese, and turtles complete the scene. Lots of permanents/monthly units. Dated but functional bathhouse. This is a place to take a deep breath and relax.
Returned 5 years after our first visit to find a new owner who has seriously upgraded the park. Pool, new bathhouse, just a cleaner overall look, and very few long term monthlies. I would now consider this park a destination but also good for a one night stop as we did.

What a bucolic, peaceful campground just minutes off the highway! We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay there, including a relaxing afternoon by the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

What a great campground. We stayed for 2 days. Not really knowing what was around there, we found Vicksburg. Incredible history. We are going back next may for 3 days. Campground is very nice. ***BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS THEY GIVE ON THE WEBSITE*** We did not and went down a road to get there that should be closed off. Also, single lane road in for a short distance, You won't want to have to back up. But it is a beautiful site.

Update××××× they have made nice improvements. The only down side was the wifi. Its pretty much nonexistent. Make sure you have satellite or other wifi options .

Beautiful escape!

Askew’s Landing RV Campground is beautifully maintained and offers a fantastic atmosphere to relax and unwind. Every amenity is top notch, meaning all areas (inside and outside) are super clean with the smallest of details and conveniences taken care of. Our campsite had full hookups and a concrete patio with picnic table and a fire ring. We definitely would stay here again!

Really nice. Lovely area. Complete with fishing gear and bait, firewood, ice cream sandwiches. Pool was beautiful too. Great would do again and again 🥰❤️ no fishing license needed!

Very nice campground, well kept, clean and very nice hosts!

It is a beautiful RV campground. We loved watching the big birds flying around the little lake. Our site overlooked the lake. We also enjoyed seeing some Fireflys during the night. Sorry we only got to stay 1 night. Next time we will stay much longer.

The sign to the RV park was hidden behind some trees , we turned on the correct road and with the help of GPS we found it however it was 2 1/2 miles down a dead end road, which was paved in good but no other signs until you got to the RV park the lots are level. They are gravel, but it is very quiet here there is no Wi-Fi.

Great place to stay. We only stayed one night but the staff was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend!

We had so many problems during this leg of our journey between severe thunderstorms and two blown tires on our tow behind...I kept in touch and they worked with me to move our trip TWICE for the same week. We extended by two days and could not have been happier. The second you turn into the park...its like dropping into an RV oasis. So glad we added the extra day. Everyone was SO beyond helpful and always checked in.

Clean quiet sites. We were in #22 Grass sites mostly level. We just overnighted while traveling through. Stayed there last year same circumstance Easy access from I 20. FHU site.

Nice spacious lakeview sites for rvs. With choice of full hook-ups or water and electric is what we chose since we stayed for 3 days only. Also primitive camping available. It's beautiful acreage.

This is a nice park, in a peaceful, beautiful location, which unlike many rv parks still gives a feel like you are camping, in a good way. It is obvious that the owners care about making their park a good place to visit. We would definitely return if we find ourselves this way again.
