Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Very cute place. Loved in how big the doggy area was and how clean it is. They have a snack shack which I thought that is a great idea. They sell candy,pizza, ice cream, coffee, snow cone, in the morning small menu they have biscuits egg and sausage or plus a sausage wrapped in pancake. They have fishing paddle boat kayak plus a swimming pool. In the check in office they have a small store. Very very nice. Thank you keep up the great work.

My husband and I went on a 7-week road trip in our travel trailer. We had lots of changes to our plans due to the weather, and we happened to be passing through Mississippi and came across this awesome spot. We found a gem. Sandy and her husband run the family-owned RV/Lake Site, they are so warm and accommodating and made us feel right at home. You would never know it is not far off the I-20. It was on our trip home; however, you feel worlds away from noise, traffic, people. It is a private oasis. It is a clean, quiet, and has beautiful, lush surroundings with a pond and larger lake for fishing. It is an absolute must go-to place if you happen to be passing through the area or want a weekend of peace and tranquility. We ended up staying an extra few days because it was so peaceful. Thank you, Sandy, for making our trip so pleasant. We hope to one day pass through again. Have fun on...

Great place for family. I loved seeing the ducks and geese!!

We stopped to camp here on our cross-country road trip. Definitely a hidden gem! We enjoyed the lake view and a dip in the pool before getting back on the road

This is a Mississippi gem ! What a great little hideaway. Quiet,peaceful yet lots of things to do. Just passing through, spending some time next trip. Thanks to the friendly and helpful staff !

Traveling by motorhome from Dallas TX to Richmond, VA and towing a Honda CRV. Was able to get a pull through site at Askew’s Landing for an overnight stay so I didn’t need to disconnect the toad. Friendly staff and nice family campground with pond and swimming pool for the kids. Great overnight stop. Not far off Interstate 20. Would definitely stay again.

Just did overnight stay. They were very welcoming. Their store had all the essentials plus snacks and treats. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Awesome place. Really worth it.

What a cute resort-type stopover for us! Sits back a long road off the interstate but you’d never know you were that close! Well kept with lots of amenities. If traveling through the area again we’d make another stop for sure. Nicest hosts too! So welcoming. Don’t forget to stop by the camp store!

We enjoyed our stay here. Very peaceful here. The owners and staff here work very hard and do a great job. We look forward to going back soon.

R.V.-Just stayed one night in the field, all grass, most have rain some, a lot of pot holes of mud.

Pretty much a layed back, farm setting place, geese and babies running around. I would like to come back if it has cement slabes to park on, to stay about two weeks.

Great quiet place. The people were so helpful and great. Bathrooms were clean. Nice little pool area and even had a snack shack. If we ever pass through there again we will definitely stay.

Great staff and amazing grounds and facilities. Private shower rooms and even a small general store. I would go back in a heartbeat!

This was the first camping trip for our new little camper. We were on site 42, which was just about perfect for a first time. They guide you right to your spot with a golf cart, this one was a pull through and we were level right after parking so we didn’t even need the blocks this time. Full hookups, but there was a bathroom right beside if you aren’t brave enough to test out the black tank yet. All the extras were very nice. They even delivered my fire wood to my site. Pool, activity pavilion, our stay was during the week, but it looks like there’s a “snack shack” on the weekends, dog park, lake for fishing or kayaks. We definitely want to come back for a longer stay.

It is such a beautiful place. We enjoy it every time we go there. It is clean, and they always have something going on.

This place is a hidden gem. The grounds, lake and wildlife are exquisite. This is a must see and stay if you’re in the area. We highly recommend this Campground.

lots of happy birds in this quiet secluded campground. Very friendly and helpful to provide for your needs; except the pool, was green. I know it’s hard to balance chemicals in heat and rain and public use, but it was hot and would have been in the pool if it wasn’t green. However, shower was very clean for a camp shower and they were cleaning and putting lots of chemicals in the pool the morning we left. Loved our 2 nights here even though it was very hot and we were thankful for electricity and shade.

Beautiful place! Quiet, but you can hear the interstate sometimes especially if semi's are using the engine brake (not loud at all). We parked in the grassy area after a storm and the last two spots (closest to the office) were a mud pit. If you stay in the grassy area do not pick those spots, they need gravel. Other than that it was great!

Stayed in our own RV. Sites are clean and s spacious. We would stay there again.

We stayed in the cabin and had a great time. Clean and has the basics. Peaceful beautiful property with friendly people.

This was only our second time camping with our RV and we had such a great time we hated to leave It’s got everything you could want and it’s so peaceful and quiet and everything is beautiful. The prices were right and the people were extremely welcoming. It’s a place we’ll come back to again.
