Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Loved the site! Beautiful setting! Grandson’s first time fishing and caught two fish!

Great campground. Had our first stay with our new camper at Askews. It’s a nice quiet getaway, facilities and grounds were clean staff very friendly. The dog park was pretty big too. We will definitely be going back soon!

We only stayed overnight in our trailer so we didn't get to see all. But what I can say is I sure hope we get the opportunity to stay there again

Great park tucked away in beautiful forest. Excellent tree lined paved road leading to park and then seeing the lake was marvelous. We were there 2 days ago and we brought 4 inches of rain with us. Still nice place to stay.

Little RV park gem with wonderful owners! They are very helpful and welcoming folks. We arrived and unfortunately, our rig wouldn’t fit best in the reserved spot. They quickly shifted and moved us to a better site. The grounds are well maintained and amenities are kept clean. Nice location with pond(s) and lots of shading trees.

Update! Passed thru for another stay on our way home to Hot Springs. Holly and her husband offered amazing customer service and got our rig settled in quickly before the storms rolled in. Again appreciated the quiet and serene location, nurturing trees all around us. Will be back for a longer visit next time!

The campground is beautiful and was a nice experience. I camped in a tent on one of their sights, and the particular tent site was a bit bumpy because of previous tire tracks. However, the customer service was excellent, and I enjoyed staying at such a welcoming campground. They are thoughtful and considerate.

Very quiet, no mosquito problem you can sit outside have campfire and enjoy the peaceful evening.they have swimming pool and fishing. They also have a camp store.

Great shaded location in the RV Park overlooking pool & pond. Pool did not open until 9:30 am, so not conducive to early workout swimming (reason for not a 5 star rating).

What a beautiful park. Friendly staff, kids loved swimming and kayaking. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. Kids met new friends, and the staff was so kind to help us with a ride when we had car trouble. Awesome place !!

We have a 34 ft Grand Design Imagine. We stayed 2 nights with our 2 kids and 1 dog. It was easy to get to and a beautiful quiet place to stay.

A few small cons- frequent brief septic smells, the pool seemed a little cloudy, and bring fly spray, but still a 5 star for us!

Everyone here was so friendly. This is a nice little campground. We only stayed 1 night as we were passing through but we would love to come back and stay longer.

We were very pleased to discover this hidden gem on our trip. Very secluded yet not far from highway exit. Our site was serene, near the lake and shaded by beautiful tall trees. Relaxing stay. Will return.

Enjoyed our camping trip 3 nights. very clean and friendly staff. Had vender trucks a band and fireworks. nice pool and fishing in the lake. Will book again when in the area.

Cabin was better than expected. Friendliest Staff that I have experienced. Great place to stay. Would be awesome if a small part of the Lake was made into a man made beach for swimming. Will definitely be visiting again.

The drive to reach the entrance to the RV park was winding road through the wood and very picturesq and enjoyable. As we drove across the creek and saw the lovely good size pond, We saw the building marked office. As we came to a stop, they came out and were extremely friendly and helpful. They guided us to our campsite and later that evening, walking around the campground that seem to be mosquito free!, I talk to the manager and asked what they used with a pond and a creek to make it mosquitoes free! She was very friendly and very helpful with sharing her information with me. Five stars no I’d give them 6.

We booked Askew’s sight unseen. It is a beautiful property, extremely well kept, very peaceful, and when we requested a different site, Dave was happy to accommodate us. Site 57 is peaceful…63 looks like a beautiful waterfront site. Bathrooms very clean…a bit of a hike but not a problem at all.

Beautiful location, very quiet, everyone we met was friendly and we were greeted by a knowledgeable, accommodating hospitality team. It was very kid friendly and the children loved the lake with the ducks.

We also peeked into the cabin which was beautiful decorated with a lovely kitchen and wrap around porch.

Easy parking for our 38 foot fifth wheel with lots of options to pull through.

Our entire family enjoyed our time there and the children played in the playground as well as played basketball.

We will definitely keep this hidden gem on our travel list when we pass through Mississippi.
