Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Great place to park overnight or stay for a while. Beautiful scenery, clean restrooms, friendly staff, level RV sites. We would definitely recommend Askew's to our friends.

Great place to stay. Very quiet and secluded. Would like to see them trim some trees for the taller rigs.

Great R V park. Plenty for room. Green grass everywhere. Great Lake. Very peaceful. Extremely big rig friendly. We arrived after hours. The staff greeted us at our site when we parked. Expansive dog park is the best.

We stopped here for the night while traveling from Geogia back to Colorado.
Great surprise to find such a neat campground. Seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. Wasn't to far of the interstate. We are planning on staying longer the next time we are that way. Maybe do some fishing and explore the area.

This is a beautiful place. The glamping cabin was very roomy and beautifully decorated. We had a great time staying there. We loved the lake and all the ducks and geese strolling around. The people were so nice and friendly. We would love to go back sometime!!

Very clean campground!
Staff were all friendly.
Grounds and roads were well maintained and sites were easy to get into and out of.
Stayed in #63 right on the lake.
No noise issues.

Enjoyed my short stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating . Park was clean and spacious.
After a long trip it was great to find the site so close to the highway.
I will definitely return if in the area.

I took my two boys their this past weekend and we had a blast it was very peaceful quite , and we like to camp in a tent and when we go places we worry about the bath houses we'll let me tell you theirs is clean you have your own private bathroom it was wonderful. Me and my boys will be visiting again real soon. And also the workers are super sweet.

The managers of this park are phenomenal. The overall park is clean and quiet with plenty of amenities. We stayed there on a road trip to Texas and liked it so much that we stopped again going back home. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at askews . The management , Mike and Molly were very nice. Had problems with air conditioner , and roof leaking . Man on site got us fixed , his name is Terry . Karaoke was a blast , and even had a live band. Swimming and fishing was great . Met lots of friends.

The location is close to I20, but very quiet. No highway noise. Restrooms clean. We were there just overnight, passing through, but they have a nice pavilion with several picnic tables. Office staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had to alter our reservation due to Hurricane Debby and they were most helpful.

The best dog run I've seen across the country. Lots of space at each camp site. Clean and relaxing. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the weekend trip to Askew’s Landing. Whatever eats flies, they don’t have those but those geese waddling around eat plenty of something. We met some amazing neighbors from the Netherlands and some from Louisiana. Really great times with the grandkids. I think our favorites were the pool and karaoke. It was so dang hot I think we will try next time this fall.

Only had time for a quick stop over but would come back some time to stay longer and visit the area. Safe, clean quiet park with great welcoming staff! ❤️

I am giving this park a 5 because it met our needs beautifully. The people that work/manage/ own this rv campground are the nicest! It, I believe, is recently under new ownership and will only get better over the next few years. The availability from I-20 was great…back a dirt road just enough to provide a spacious, country feel. We had booked online and selected a site based on shade availability but when we arrived someone was not content (not me)! No problem moving us to a different site. Nice little pool with nearby rest rooms, nice shower facilities, ponds, well stocked little store. And they have a nice well ran website!

This was the perfect stop on our way home from the Delta. Craig is a great host and an excellent communicator. The store had just what we needed. Although we didn’t use the pool, it was very clean and the children seemed to be enjoying it! It is a hidden gem.

Stop over on our way to Destin from Missouri. Best Kept GEM is right!! What a nice clean place to stay while traveling. We watched the wildlife on the lake from our RV in the morning with our coffee. We will be back!

A little off the beaten path but well worth it. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed the pond with the ducks snd geese. Owner was very helpful and friendly.Definitely a hidden gem and we will be back in the future. Pool was in good shape , didn’t use the laundry or showers,dog park is really nice. Easy hookup and everything work as intended.

Love this place. Mary is so sweet. We are from South Florida and I love the shade trees.

This review for Askew's Landing Campground is based on two 1-night visits traveling through this area to visit family in another state and then going back home. There was a lot of rainy weather happening during both visits. This campground is very secluded by trees and is off the main highway, which is nice, so you don’t hear that noise. The narrow dirt roads are probably expected by most visitors.
The cons for our two 1-night visits in July 2024. As I mentioned it had rained, the road into the campground had one very muddy spot you must drive through so If you don’t want to get mud all over your truck or camper you should drive very slowly. Since this is under new ownership, I believe they will eventually either pour gravel or add some pavement on the main roads and RV sites. The site where we were placed was right beside a bathroom which I could smell when I was standing...

This place is so beautiful and relaxing. We loved our stay here the people were all so helpful and kind. We will definitely be staying here again

Great rv park! The staff was super sweet and helpful! Every weekend, they had something going on. Craft show, glow stick pool party, food trucks, slip and slide, list goes on! The pool was super refreshing every evening. We were under huge shade trees, so it kept the rv nice and cool all day long! Huge Pavillion and community fire pit with some rv spots having their own fire pit for smores. The store on site has all kinds of fishing items in the store. They also have kayaks for rent to enjoy the pond/lake.
5 stars all the way around!!

Lovely location. Natural-landscape style campground on a small pastoral fishing lake. The sounds of the forest at night were enchanting and incredible! We were there in July when it was hot and humid. Had a gorgeous spot right on the lakefront. At this time of year, you definitely need bug spray/protection. Very relaxing and peaceful vibe. We would definitely stay again and spend more time, but probably in the Fall or Spring when the weather is milder.
