Askew’s Landing RV Campground

What a nice park. Good walking area for the dog, nice clean bathrooms and showers. Wound have liked to stay longer to try my fishing skills in the pond.

Lovely family friendly place. Enjoyed the peace and quiet while visiting with family and friends

We stopped her for the night on our way home to Alabama. What a nice place, very serene, lake and trees etc. The dog park was great to let my dogs off leash, and the showers were great. We will be back!

Amazing campground/rv park….peaceful and off the beaten path, yet within easy driving distance of Jackson and Vicksburg. Well appointed and quite beautiful with trees, a pond with geese and ducks, nice pool, etc.

We stayed just 1 day 9/10/24. We had to change our travel plans due to hurricane Francine and discovered this wonderful campground. The owners and their family were so kind and friendly and the campground was beautiful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is traveling near there.

This campground is a hidden gem. I am super-bummed that we were only able to spend one night here, as my schedule required me to be elsewhere on a certain day. The owners are friendly, the campground is clean and laid out well. If we ever get the opportunity to pass this way again, I will be sure to make it a point to stay a couple of days.

We stumbled across Askew’s Website on our way through Jackson. We only stayed one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Wonderful hosts, quiet campgrounds, stunning nature filled property. We can’t comment on the facilities because we didn’t use them, however everything else was clean, organized, and worked brilliantly.
They even have a well stocked camp store. We will definitely stay here again next time we’re passing through.

Just left this lovely place. I enjoyed the salt water pool, the greenery and peaceful surroundings, and the ducks. Nice spacious sites and welcoming staff. Enjoyed the secluded location yet close to interstate 20. Nice pond and lake. I inquired on a walking trail and they are working on it. In the meantime, I took my son for a walk around the campground. We will return to this place.

Stopped here for just one night on a “winging it” RV trip. Did a map search as we were heading west and found Askew’s Landing. Called about what we thought was a hour and a half out that turned into two hours and they still accommodated us at 10 pm. A lovely gentleman on a golf cart (I’m sorry that I can’t remember his name) met us, checked us in and took us to our spot. Very quiet and lovely grounds. Very friendly staff. Hope to purposefully visit as a stop in the future.

The most family oriented camping ground I have seen that doesn't break the bank. The staff are extremely friendly, and is sure to include all campers to their activities. The property is peaceful and has several conveniences. Laundry and camp store were extremely beneficial. The live music and karaoke with the FOOD TRUCK were a big time hit! The games and activities were so much fun to watch and participate in. 10/10 recommended! Thank you Askew for a fantastic memorable vacation for my family!

Excellent Experience, beginning to end! We loved the location, amenities, staff, and surroundings. We will be coming back for a week just to vacation and enjoy this gem, instead of passing through.

We enjoyed staying here. It’s off the beaten path and is a beautiful setting. The WiFi here is VERY weak so if you want to use it you will need a booster.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, peaceful grounds and very friendly hosts!
Took a late night stroll around the lake to enjoy the stars. We will definitely return.
The only improvement I would note is to add gravel or pavement to the roads. The dry dirt road kicked up dust that coated us and the inside of our campervan.

Very nice place to stay. Camp grounds are well kept and the personal staff are the best and very helpful. We had a little mechanical problem and let us extend our stay. Thankfully. We will be returning!

What a beautiful hidden gem. Wonderfully quiet with lots of shade and open space. The lake was added serenity.

We were passing through and were well taken care of. The night watchman helped us get parked and we can't say enough good things about this campground!

On vacation and had the opportunity to stop and stay with RV at Askew’s Landing RV Campground. We traveled with our 3 pets and definitely a pet friendly Park. The small and large dog parks were so nice. Staff was nice and so much to do. Definitely a great place for family reunions. Will stay again

My family rented the Glamping Cabin and it was absolutely amazing! We took 2 teenage boys with us who are engrossed in all things electronic and not 1 time over the 2 days did they even mention anything about then! The staff and owner were super welcoming, engaging and professional. The grounds were clean and beautiful. It was very peaceful and a much needed break from the fast paced world we live in! The boys are already asking when are we going back!!
