Askew’s Landing RV Campground

My husband and I took our family here for fall break and we all absolutely loved it. It is so peaceful and the grounds are well kept. The service is excellent and they are willing to help with whatever you need. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away or even just need a place to stay for the night we highly recommend Askew’s!

This place is beautiful to most important things, friendly people and cleanliness they have it all. There was three ladies at the desk when we checked in they were wonderful. Had a blast visiting with them.
I just didn’t get to see their dog next trip thanks for a wonderful time. We stayed at the campground.

Had a very nice stay, bathrooms were very clean, beautiful scenery with the lake and trees. Would definitely camp here again.

Such a beautiful campground!! Staff was very helpful and resourceful. We arrived last minute needing to camp for a night after a long drive. After being greeted by Mike and Holly we were shown to our spot. And told if we needed anything to call. Well unbeknownst to us we would need to make that call. Our surg protector was not working. Mike checked all the lines and box and Holly asked if we could borrow a spare from another camper. They saved our night. Thank you guys again for all your help and hospitality. We will definitely be back.

The kids had a blast and made new friends. The dog park was a really cool thing for our dog to be able to have a little freedom and fun without being on her leash. The staff was very helpful and the lake is beautiful.

This is the absolute best place to stay when going to Vicksburg. We stayed right in the lake so our fur baby was able to roam around without disturbing anyone else. Great staff riding around doing work and checking on everything to make sure we didn't need anything made us feel safe leaving here all day. Watching people fish and the ducks was a plus also. We will be back

Beautiful pond/lake location with gorgeous trees, friendly staff. Not too far off highway and no noise! A hidden gem!

Beautiful place. Easy access. Friendly people. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of no wifi but they said that it's in the plans to upgrade soon.

Very clean, well cared for and picturesque camp ground. Best showers we've found as we are road tripping from Oregon! Extremely friendly and helpful staff too!

Pretty, easy access, friendly; were at campground, not motel

Love this beautiful, serene spot! The owners went out of their way to accommodate us last minute during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We arrived at 10 o’clock on a Sunday night, they waited up for us, and then personally escorted us to our RV site. Will definitely be back!

We stopped for 1 night on our way to Pensacola, FL from Independence, MO. Loved the peace & quite and would definitely like to he able to stay again & longer. Absolutely a hidden gem of a place to stay.

Such a beautiful place. We discovered it through Harvest Hosts. Just an overnight for us on our way back home to Florida. Had we known more before stopping we would have planned to stay longer. We were in our motor home pulling a tow vehicle. We stayed in an area they call the field. There was plenty of room and full hook ups. Friendly folks, good ammenities, lots of activities and, as I mentioned, beautiful surroundings made for a very pleasant stay. Staff is very communicative and attentive. We will return!

A gem a must

Had a wonderful stay at Askew. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They even went out of their way to help us try to fix a part of our inside slide that came off from all the rough roads from traveling. Highly recommend this place!!

Craig and Sandy are the most friendly people you'll ever meet. They are excellent hosts.
If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to camp with plenty of amenities and beautiful surroundings; this may be the spot for you.
Location is directly off of I 20, 15 minutes from Jackson and 25 minutes from Vicksburg.
We had a great stay!!! Looking forward to staying again next year.
