Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Great harvest host and beautiful spot. Friendly and accommodating staff. Loved the dog parks and the lakes.

Stayed only 1 night traveling through but the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming! Grounds well kept and very pretty drive in. Would definitely go back.

Very clean, exceptionally quiet park. Nice folks there that have built a very pleasant country style park, country store, and pond. The pads are grass or gravel. Located at the end of a paved road and then gravel across a dam to the office. A little caution and taking it slow is all you need to get in and out.

Great place to drop off I-20 for a night!

I would love to say nothing but positive things here because the owners are so nice! However, that would not be fair to my fellow RVers.

Pros:
1. As mentioned owners are very nice and accomodating.
2. Beautiful setting.
3. Area on the water had lots of space and no one close to you.
Cons:
1. The biggest con was the dirt and dust! Our spot was nothing but dirt. So first day it was dry you were constantly wiping dust off your shoes and clothes. Next day it was raining so now it became a game of tracking mud everywhere you went.
2. UNLEVEL. We have never been in a more unlevel site. Our auto level kept giving us errors.
3. Electric is in back on one side and water on the side toward front. Not a deal breaker but aimed in the middle and electric barely reached.

Had a great overnight stop at this campground, it's clean, beautiful and camp hosts were very friendly. We will stop again when we travel that way.

We stayed here in our fifth wheel. The staff is so friendly and the campground itself is beautiful. It was Halloween weekend and there were lots of activities going on. I would definitely stay here again.

Host are fabulous. We had a great time.

Great weekend, Halloween, Lots of kids and decorations even had a free haunted trail. Peaceful no drama and great hosts and owners. Highly recommend!!

Easy and private location, all the amenities. Sandy and Mike were easy and incredible to work with, even though we came in at 8PM on a Wednesday. Absolutely the best private camp ground I've ever stayed at, can't recommend enough. Spot 70 is the best spot in the park, hands down.

What a beautiful camping spot! We just stopped for the night, quick access off I-20. Many folks enjoying fall camping!

Quaint and peaceful.

Beautiful campground with roomy sites. Conveniently located near I-20, but well away from traffic noise, and staffed by very helpful and friendly people. Surrounded by forests and lakes, it was a very peaceful place that we hope to visit again in the future.

We stopped for a quick overnight in our 30-foot travel trailer. Great friendly staff, well maintained, and convenient location off I 20. Adorable park, and we will definitely return when in the area!

We stopped at Askew’s both going to and coming from a camping trip to the Gulf Coast. It was so convenient for an overnight stop, but still secluded and a good rest from the highway. We will stop again, if our travels take us that way.

We spent two nights there on our trip home to Texas from Florida in our RV (after cutting our Disney World vacation short to flee incoming Hurricane Milton). We had booked it last-minute for one night, but when we arrived and saw how great the campground was, we asked for and received an extension for a second night. We stayed in the Field with our 42-foot fifth wheel and had easy access and plenty of room. Full hookups (conveniently located) and a fire pit at the site, a nice little camp store, and excellent service from the very friendly hosts. A beautiful setting, and a very quiet, restful location, near enough to Vicksburg to go see some of the sights, with the campground’s peaceful surroundings just what we needed after a stressful evacuation from Florida. Gorgeous spot, quiet and peaceful. Only passing through this time but will definitely return to take advantage of that beautiful pool!

We stayed at Askew’s Landing Campground in mid-October of 2024. We had a delightful stay! The campground was beautiful. The staff friendly and accommodating. We are looking forward to our next visit!
