Askew’s Landing RV Campground

We did a 1 night car camping night while heading west, and this was great. The shower / bath was awesome. Lots of big RV campers were on site, and cabins. So definitely a safe and clean place.

The owners are the best. We came in late at night and they came out to meet us. We were just passing through but will definitely come back when in area again. Thank you

LOVE THIS SPOT....This pretty place has just about everything you need including a camp store and shower/bathrooms on-site. We went tent camping there and had water/electrical access as well as a firepit area. The RV sites also looked clean with conveniences for those campers, too. We did some fishing with no luck, but other fishermen pulled in several nice ones. The kids from the RV park looked like they had a blast too. The owners are very helpful, and they also provide weekend "theme" events. We entered our granddog in the canine costume contest as Agent 007...LOL. This is definitely a family-friendly spot not too far from Vicksburg MS.

Travelling from Texas to Georgia with 4 kids, we needed a place in the middle to hook up the trailer and spend the night. I found Askew's Landing online in the Jackson area, and booked what I thought was a 50 amp spot. We arrived late after dark, and I found a very professional folder with my name on it in a box at the door to the office. It contained among other things a map of the park with x's drawn at my current location and at my site along with a cell number to call with any problems. I was very appreciative of this, since I had never been to this park. When I went to park, I found that I had accidentally booked a 30 amp spot. I called the cell number provided, and a very helpful park host gave me a different site number to move to that had 50 amp service. Not only did they promptly offer me a new site, they arrived in a golf cart and and led me to the new spot. The park looked...

Nice quiet, relaxing campground. High marks for the helpful, friendly staff.

Staying at Askew’s is like staying with family and friends. Furry creatures are welcome and have a nice dog run. Just like staying with family without having to put up with the mother-in-law.

Truly a Gem! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was very clean and well kept up. Sites were very nice. Extremely picturesque and beautiful location. I HIGHLY recommend!

Absolutely loved our first trip to Askew’s Landing. Beautiful location and so many fun events for the whole family. We loved the pedal boats!

Second trip to Askew’s Landing is in the books. They were so kind to place a Birthday sign at our site and I absolutely loved that personal touch. This campground is in such good shape and the friendly atmosphere cannot be beat! Our daughter especially loved the saltwater pool, playground, and walking the grounds throughout our stay. The office staff and other guests went out of their way to assist her with a personal scavenger hunt as well. This is truly a place we love! (And we have already booked our next trip here!)

What more could you want from a rv camp sight!

Second time staying at Askew's Landing and we really enjoy the Campground. There was a slight issue at check-in and the Manager handled the problem and we were very satisfied! Staff is very helpful and the grounds are well maintained. We were thankful for all the brochures for attractions in the surrounding areas.

The place is great. Pool,lake and pond for fishing. Camp fires. Great place I would come back here.

Very quiet and peaceful place

What a fun place! Pond, lake, fishing, kayaking, playground, pool, good clean private bathhouses... What else could you possibly need?

Perfect! Showers, restrooms a bit dated, but location, lake, woods, overall ambiance is perfect (we have our own shower/restrooms). No kids on this trip, but a great kid place.

So excited about all the improvements to the camp and the creative ideas being implemented. My grandsons really enjoyed summer camp here in 2025.

Beautiful, friendly, and well-run place! So happy we stayed an extra night here on our way cross country. This would be a wonderful family gathering spot!
