Have had a couple sets of there steps. Worked flawlessly. Great experience with there customer service. Highly recommend.

I like that I was able to install these steps by myself. I watched the rock slide video and another at https://youtu.be/PVGXXTd_TTU?si=QQb9zEfWfp6FnOjm that were both very helpful. This took me more than the time I had available in 1 day, so I did the electrical on the first day, the step install on a second day and finished on a third day. This caused me to skip the calibration step since I was driving the jeep in between, so the steps didn't activate on first try. The calls to support were answered immediately and the steps to correct we're easy to follow. Other than that, this install is very DIY doable with proper time.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve had some issues with my step sliders. BUT! The team at Rock Slide Engineering has been really great at helping me resolve problems, and taking care of things in good faith. The products are mechanical, and a little bit more complicated in nature than a lot of other Jeep mods. And thus, overtime, some issues on some kits, for some people are bound to go wrong. As is with any product. I believe that it’s how RSE handles these issues that sets them apart from the rest. They do care. They do help. You just need to contact them rather than jump to the review page and complain. If they don’t know and hear about it first here, how are they supposed to correct it?

They look good on my Jeep and are functional for my wife and kids. I’ve seen competitors models on a few Jeeps and I think the RSE are better. They also provide a ledge for the kids (and me)...

The attention to customers is amazing.. had a couple glitches in my products but was delta with in an amazing fashion. Bought 2 sets of slider steps and armor.. well 2-1/2 sets.. hit the rock perfectly and bent step brackets.. bought a replacement AND the armor then bought a second complete set for my wrangler.. absolutely thrilled with performance and interactions

I Installed the Rock Slide step rails on my lifted 2020 JT. Makes it so easy to get in out of truck. Especially for my 4' 11" wife. I do have the extra armor on. I have banged and scraped the slides very hard and they have held up perfectly. Customer service is fantastic.

Just purchased and installed the Rock Slide tailgate table on my 2024 Rubicon X. Absolutely awesome. When you're searching for a table, stop once you've found Rock Slide. Ordered it thru Extreme Terrain and they were great... communicated and performed... got it in one day. The first thing you notice is it's packaged great. Protected with a nice manual... not that you'll need it as it's super easy to install... but read it anyway. The build quality is exceptional and design is second to none. Love the two tiered table and the size due to the fold out lower table. The magnetic closure is solid and feels like it will hold well.

From box to complete, maybe 20 minutes, but I already had the tailgate panel removed... so add 15 for that.

Looking forward to a test drive with the table!!

Their products serve the purpose that they were designed for I highly recommend their products in addition, their customer service, as well as warranty department, my friendly efficient and they are all about finding resolution should you have a problem with their products!

Rock sliding engineering, what an amazing product, functions, very well, protect my Jeep against all my OFF Roading. Since purchasing my steps, they have worked great even though I had some few malfunctioning their customer, service and warranty were very prompt and efficient to find a resolution to my problem. Their warranty claim, and customer service department are excellent and the demonstrate what all other companies should be doing!!! I highly recommend rock sliding engineering as you go product to protect your vehicle.

Well built. Good instructions. Had trouble installing front brackets into body/frame bolt. The ford body/frame washer and bolt do not have tolerance/play for bracket to be inserted easily. I had to pound with a hammer to drive bracket in. Loosening bolt more does not remedy. Concern with bending bolt or marring threads. 2023 bronco wildtrack. Consider re-engineering these brackets.

Rock Slide step sliders are amazing. Install was pretty easy, directions and video were a big help (videos need to include a Gladiator install). Material and construction is top notch. Packaging was impeccable, no scratches or dings. The step sliders look amazing on my 22 Gladiator. I added the delete switches and the light kit. Rock Slide's people were great to deal with.

These guys treated me like a Rockstar here at Rock Sliders Engineering! Amazing customer service. One of the Employees (Gary) brought my sliders to my house because they wouldn't fit in my Jeep. He was actually going by my house the next day! Answered all my questions even after hours for 3 days throughout the weekend! Replying to text messages up to 10 pm!
After 3 days of messing with them and trying to get the Skid Plates to fit onto the Rock Sliders, I brought them back to RSE and Ian (I think, His desk is the middle one in the Sales Department) I guess he could see the frustration on my face. I recently left a review that was less than 5 stars because of an issue i had with one of the steps being "jiggly" and not solid upon deployment, a customer service rep emailed me and I sent them a video of my issue, they immediately offered a new motor replacement for my problem. I received my new motor yesterday and installed it today. I am very happy to report, the new motor fixed my issues, thanks to Rock Slide for offering a solution and not giving hassle as some may do.

I purchased the 4-door Rubicon JL step sliders at my wife’s request and absolutely love them. I’m a military engineer and have very high expectations for such things (which usually doesn’t end well). The design, quality of components and construction are outstanding. The aesthetic rubber trim strip between the sliders and Jeep body isn’t staying in place very well. But if it never came with that part, I probably wouldn't have noticed, nice trim but not altogether necessary. I found their web sales and service response to be fantastic as well. One part was missing in the packaging, and they had one to me the next day. I also very much appreciate the First Responder discount.

After speaking with the support rep, he recommended a new motor for one side and new spring tension springs for the Gen2 Steps. After receiving them and following the videos on the site, I was able to fully repair both sides and they operate as when they were new. Great experience both with the diagnosis and the parts. Love this company!

2021 Gladiator, the install was smooth and to the point just one issue was that the pigtail for the step motor was wired/color coded wrong, but this is an issues that the support staff was aware of but don’t seem to have an issue with.

I ordered step sliders for my Bronco. Fedex deliverd one but one corner of the mount was bent over which damaged the powder coat. I straightened the corner and touched it up with texture paint. The other step slider showed up a few days later and was not damaged. When I went to install the rubber trim I noticed it was deformed from the bracket box or step slider crushing it from rough handling by FedEx . I called and explained what happened. The very next day a new gasket/trim was on the way. Great customer service. I recommend dealing with this company. Another review coming after installation. Thanks so much.

I just wanted to send a note of thanks for the amazing customer service I have received from your company. We purchased the GEN 3 steps and skid plates for our jeep JL and we have absolutely love them. We recently had an issue with the step operating properly. We were frustrated and about to leave for a trip. A warranty claim was created and within a week a brand new step was shipped. I you have a customer for life and I can highly recommend your company. I purchased the step slider for my new Jeep rubicon eco diesel. I had no problem installing the slider. Instructions was clear and easy to follow. When I test the slider, the driver side step would not deploy. I call rockslide engineering on Tuesday and spoke to the tech. We were able to determine it was the sensor on the driver side that was bad. He send out the sensor and I received it two days later. After switching out the sensor, the step deploy perfectly. The customer service I received was amazing. I will recommend your company to all my friend and customers. Thank you

These steps are great convenience for getting in and out of the Jeep in particular if you have it lifted. I find them helpful with the rear doors when loaded up with all my gear and need the extra height to reach in.
You can have some issues with them failing (it is a working part that is going up and down constantly), but their customer service and warranty is top notch to get you up and running again.
