The step sliders for my 2024 Rubicon are impressive, they look great and function very well. The installation video was pretty easy to follow. It took me about 4.5 hours with the help of my kid. The only thing i would want to be aware of in the future is the Video install and written directions, while both very detailed, ran wires from the opposite side of the jeep so its hard to go bad and forth for wiring routing.

Great product so far. I installed the rock rails/steps by myself. Pretty simple, but would be easier with a second person for main installation. Steps and sensors work well. Noticed after a couple weeks some LED’s not illuminating. Will contact them soon for replacements. Easy plug and play. Offer great protection as well as functionality.

Excellent look to add to the jeep..however it was a little difficult to install. But patience and finesse is what it takes. Great product!

Great steps, great product. I will have to say the instructions need to be clearer that you MUST follow the harness route. The harness is side specific and is only specified once in the instructions. (In the wiring diagram.)

You may skip the instructions or read over it very easily. But do note that you CANNOT route through the firewall. You must go down the wheel well from the battery on the passenger side, then across the crossmember. I learned the hardway because I wanted to route it cleaner than what was instructed to do, the steps did not work because I had the driver and passenger plugs to the modules mismatched. WHICH IS MY FAULT for not thoroughly reading the instructions or using common sense since there is a module in each step, rather than one module like there use to be, or like there is in the controller in AMP Research steps.

Rock slide automatic rails\steps are a real nice addition to any serious Jeep Wrangler JL. The 3 generation seems to be high quality and very well designed. Fit and finish is up to par for a high end rock rails while adding the hidden step for the taller JL's.

Installed my rock slides the other day. Super simple and fit perfectly. Took my 15 year old son about 30 mins total. I helped him with the rubber gasket. They look amazing!

I had a issue with my side steps it worked out fine until I opened the door and I went halfway and I never moved again. I called Rock Slide and ask him some questions about my issue. He said to disconnect the fuse for a few seconds and reinstall it and see if it went away. No... I called them back I sent them a video and they told me what the issue was the motor went bad. I'm so happy because they were able to get back to me so quickly in the response was amazing! They asked me on my email where do they want to send the motor. I really appreciate your help In resolving this problem I like the equipment thank you. Josh

Being retired from the offroad industry and the husband of the original owner of Smittybilt Inc. my wife and I both are huge off road enthusiasts. I have a hitch cover and some steps on a 23 Gladiator. The product is not perfect, but the customer service is. I would buy anything from them in a heartbeat!

Great experience when purchasing the Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders at All 4 Fun. Tom answered all questions, showed the product on his Gladiator. Shipping took a bit long, 2 weeks to receive the product. The packing with protection was a 10, finish a 10, and as usual the instructions were weaker than what I was expecting. All in all extremely satisfied with the over fit, finish, and operation. Would order from them again!

I have the Rock Slide Gen 3 steps, I had installed in 2023 on my Wrangler JL. This year a crazy 2024 thing was happening on the passenger side in that at times the steps would go in and out continually until I pulled fuse and a time later install and it would resolve but would start again at another time. Called and sent a video to Rockslide, customer response was POSITIVE and polite and concerned. Within about five days I had a new controller for that side. It resolved said issue and it is actually smoother. In this state of it's not my problem they resolved it in a most positive way. THANK YOU ROCK SLIDE for being there "After the Sale"!

Not sure who will receive this review but I can’t express enough how much I appreciated the help on the weekend via Facebook from Colin(I think) the IT guy! He went so far above and beyond to help me! I couldn’t find the pdf instructions for the bed rack(2 pieces short of a bedroom suite from IKEA) and he took his time to send pics of his rack and then drove to the shop to take more pics! Unbelievable service and this guy needs a raise or commendation or something! He save my weekend! Thanks to him I got my bed rack installed and the tent done! Thanks a ton! Pics coming soon!

I’m forever grateful for his advanced and professional knowledge of towing us out. We flipped midway through Fins and Things and crushed our radiator. The Rock Slide steps have been working great, however I had a couple of weeks of driving in the snow and ice and had a control module go out on the driver's side step. The customer service that I received was fantastic. Rock Slide sent a replacement part out immediately and there was no charge for the part, just asked for the faulty part to be sent back.

Always a very solid product have the latest version of rock slide steps with additional skids. Awesome! Just purchased and used my new hitch skid. Already taking a beating works great.

These steps are amazing when installed correctly. A high quality product with Gen 3. I had an issue with one of the square skid plate holes not being drilled in the rear slider so I had to forget one of the 3 three gold bolts and only have 2 per side holding the skid plate on. I could have probably drilled a new hole but I didn't yet.
