2021 Gladiator, the install was smooth and to the point just one issue was that the pigtail for the step motor was wired/color coded wrong, but this is an issues that the support staff was aware of but don’t seem to have an issue with.

I ordered step sliders for my Bronco. Fedex deliverd one but one corner of the mount was bent over which damaged the powder coat. I straightened the corner and touched it up with texture paint. The other step slider showed up a few days later and was not damaged. When I went to install the rubber trim I noticed it was deformed from the bracket box or step slider crushing it from rough handling by FedEx . I called and explained what happened. The very next day a new gasket/trim was on the way. Great customer service. I recommend dealing with this company. Another review coming after installation. Thanks so much.

We purchased the GEN 3 steps and skid plates for our jeep JL and we have absolutely love them. We recently had an issue with the step operating properly. We were frustrated and about to leave for a trip. A warranty claim was created and within a week a brand new step was shipped. I you have a customer for life and I can highly recommend your company. I purchased the step slider for my new Jeep rubicon eco diesel. I had no problem installing the slider. Instructions was clear and easy to follow. When I test the slider, the driver side step would not deploy. I call rockslide engineering on Tuesday and spoke to the tech. We were able to determine it was the sensor on the driver side that was bad. He send out the sensor and I received it two days later. After switching out the sensor, the step deploy perfectly. The customer service I received was amazing. I will recommend your company to all my friend and customers. Thank you

These steps are great convenience for getting in and out of the Jeep in particular if you have it lifted. I find them helpful with the rear doors when loaded up with all my gear and need the extra height to reach in.
You can have some issues with them failing (it is a working part that is going up and down constantly), but their customer service and warranty is top notch to get you up and running again.

When I went to install my step sliders I found missing small parts and a faulty door sensor. The Warranty Dept. got me the parts and I finished my install. Thank you

We’ve had the steps on our JT Gladiator he was in an accident in these steps completely saved our jeep from being totaled not only are they great for getting in and out of your vehicle but they will protect you on the rocks in an accident. Steps are a game changer. With a 3 inch lift on my JKU my wife can still get in easily.
I left some lights on over night and had to jump the battery to start my jeep and recharge my battery. Next morning the passenger side step would not extend. Checked the manual and found the fuse. Removed fuse and it looks good. Reinstalled fuse and now the step works as it should. Must have been a hard reboot of the circuit board. I'm happy.

The step sliders are a very good product & I would have given a 5 star rating but for one thing. I followed installation instructions as directed & I found the wiring to the doors on passenger side to be short. It is a very tight fit & I am somewhat concerned over the wirings longevity based on the tightness of everything. Add an extra 3” of wiring to the various components & build it into the price. Installation would have been much easier if not for this snag. The steps are very good quality & work well. Overall I am pleased with the product

Just wanted to drop a note and let you know again how much Stacie and I are enjoying our Step Sliders on Red, the Land Use War Machine 1997 TJ. They were installed by CDM Manufacturing, Joker’s Fab, in Lodi, CA and we’ve been in love ever since. The steps are saving my back! I am in and out of the Jeep 100 times a day while giving tours in places like Death Valley. And yes, we took them through the Rubicon with Jeepers Jamboree and had NO issues. They are bad-azz.

Great product and customer service to match. I had an issue with my Slider gen 3 for my JL and contacted them 2 days after the year warranty. Fast, easy solution and it made me a customer for life.

I also installed the led kit, door delete kit. In the beginning it should reference that if you’re installing those options don’t reinstall the cover plates etc. Need to include another grommet with kit to keep wires from getting possibly damaged, had a clamp and bolt that I didn’t know where they went.
On the door delete kit, having additional 90 degree angular piece for the switch to be mounted in, instead of just flat piece might be better, ( the included wires needed to be a little longer , could barely reach under dash of my 2018 2 door jk. Just my opinions.

Great steps. Install wasn’t to bad. The you tube video helps more than the manual.

My recommendation for the step install would be only put the first and last bracket on before you put the steps on. Easier to guide the bolts they the pinch weld.

These guys are the BEST. Three times I have needed parts for my Rockslide Engineering power steps on my JLUR and three times they have come through like a champ. If you do any hard core rock crawling I do recommend they skid plate (I got those with order #2) Everything fits the way it is supposed to and shipping is quick and easy. I highly recommend these guys.

I bought the Rock Slide Engineering Step Slides for my 2022 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch! I’m short at 5’1” and don’t mind hopping up in to my Bronco, but somedays after working long hours on the ambulance, I was tired and had a hard time climbing in. I ordered the Step Slides and couldn’t be happier!! They are extremely rugged and make climbing in to my Bronco so much easier!! Plus, they are tucked away while out exploring and I never have to worry about damaging the steps while out having fun of road!! These are a GAME CHANGER!!! Thank you Rick Slide Engineering!!!

Purchased slider steps for my 2-door 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition. The First Edition came with their Sasquatch package with the lift and 35" tires so my wife and daughter were having troubles getting in and out. These things look great, and they work really well. I added the LED light strip which work great and light things up very well at night. Highly recommend!

Rock Slide Engineering is awesome. Their steps are great and their Customer Service was phenomenal. My playground of choice is Moab. One thing I learned is that if you are driving a “Mall Crawler”, meaning that you are not going off-road, their basic steps are awesome. I didn’t use their recommended Skid Plate for off-road activity. I found that after bouncing off the rocks hard a number of time they quit working for me.

I drove up to their shop and 1.5 hours later, I was on my way with both steps working and with the Skid Plate (which I purchased to eliminate this problem from recurring). In all my life I have never worked with a company who provided better customer service.

I am so impressed by the sliders. The packing was excellent, the fit and finish is superb, and I feel like I received a quality product.

Just finished my install on my new 392. These things are amazing. Built for a tank. Called in with a couple questions on the install and immediately was connected to a tech ( when does that happen in todays world ) and he answered every question and gave me a location to install the door delete kit that i hadn't thought of. Definitely recommend. Looking at bumpers now

I troubleshot everything and went over the installation 2 or 3 times. All was good but the steps still wouldn’t extend when any door was open. I emailed Rock Slide and did two steps of troubleshooting. All checked good but the steps still did not extend or retract when any door was opened. Rock Slide was going to call me the next day (today) for further troubleshooting. I got up this morning and waited for their call (I’m 2hrs ahead of them.)
