This will be a mixed review. Overall, I am very satisfied with the company and the products, but getting to that point presented some issues.
The first was that the sales person could not answer my questions and had to consult someone at the company to get the answers. (in fairness to him and RJW, the other sales people from other companies could also not answer these questions either.) He did work diligently to get them and ultimately, I got most of the answers I wanted which is a good thing. I had specific reasons for changing my patio doors and I wanted R factors, chamber information, glass panel construction information - he simply didn't have that information- and I thought he should have. This made getting to the point of a contract a bit difficult, and I had to include an addendum to it.
The second issue of was the actual contract situation. There were things that I had asked for that didn't appear on the contract. I wanted certain types of glass and other things that are in their contract changed. They never actually changed the original and I had to write in the changes. Even at that, when they were included, the company did not pay attention to the changes. Not only did they not pay attention to the the changes, the actual glass situation that I ordered wasn't even available (a manufacturer issue since it wasn't in their brochure), but the company didn't tell me that such a configuration did not exist and simply changed the order with out telling me. As such the glass that was delivered was wrong and had to be re-ordered and replaced.
Now, RJW was very apologetic and worked diligently to correct the mistake but to first sell a product configuration that does not exist - and then simply change the product to something else without telling me - well that is not the best practice in my view. Again, they were apologetic and worked hard to correct the problem - but that took another 6 weeks. All the while, they communicated the status of the situation very well to me, they were a bit hampered by the weather. They get kudos for th communication and for being concerned about making it right.
My advice would be to quadruple check your contract before you sign and to make sure that the product you ordered is something that they actually manufacture.
Now the product itself is a good product and accomplishes what I wanted. The install was very good as well. But you'll have to be patient.
