Excellent experience with RES. AC was pumping out hot air in the middle of the night. I called RES at 8:20 AM, David H showed up at 2:20 PM, and I had cold air 20 minutes later!!!! Replace capacitor in 22 year old unit so I'll be sleeping in comfort tonight! David was friendly and obviously knows his stuff.

I was told I had a faulty compressor that needed to be replaced. I reached out to RES because original contractor said it may take a week to get parts and schedule the repair. RES said they could do it the next day. David from RES did his own diagnosis on arrival and said compressor was not the problem , but it was the TXV that had to be replaced. If I had gone with McCrae, they would have replaced the compressor only to tell me later that it was the TXV.

After submitting a service request through the website I was contacted via email within 20 minutes providing multiple Windows of availability that I could select the following day. Shortly after I sent a response I received both a text message and email confirming my appointment. Robert and Kevin showed up during the scheduled window and called ahead prior to arrival. They were friendly, courteous and professional throughout their visit. Options were presented to me with thorough explanations and they answered all questions. The replacement part (condenser coil) was not available for immediate installation but RES recharged (added refrigerant) at no cost to allow for cooling while I awaited the return visit 5 days later. Overall, a superior experience from RES!

BLUF: These folks are prompt with their responses and clear with their communication. The rates are very reasonable.

I had them move my AC unit, a couple hour job to extend the power and lines. The price came in around $600 for a couple guys to do it. I contracted them to replace my Furnace and AC as well.

I can’t think of anything that RES could have done better: they were prompt, diagnosed our A/C problem quickly, explained everything clearly, charged a reasonable amount and took care to wear foot covers when in the living spaces of our home.
