When an inspection of the front of our house showed water penetration and internal structural deterioration (poor stucco and window installation during construction 20 year ago), we consulted with Mike Ladden of Reaction Exteriors, who was supervising another project in the area. Mike guided us through every step of the process starting with initial consultation and questions/answers, discussion of options, price estimations, scheduling, on-site work, and post-construction follow-up. The communication in meetings, texts, and emails was excellent, we were always informed of the plan and status of the work on a daily basis. Mike did not try to upsell but did give us valuable recommendations on the best products and methods. The end result was outstanding, both in look and quality. My stucco was put on in the early 1980's so it was aged with large open cracks, mold, and sagging. I choose Reaction Exteriors based on the detail of their quote and honesty about unexpected fees I could face if we uncovered a bigger water & mold problem. The original stucco application was on foam core boards with adhesive felt then wire-mesh and stucco. Very flimsy to today's standards which considers extreme weather events. This new application used plywood, water barriers, mesh, and three coats of stucco material along with proper flashing around the windows and doors. The team of workers were on-time, clean, friendly, and skilled in their trade of masonry (check out the even and consistent pattern in the final picture). The cost was around $17k. Mike, our project manager, was fantastic. He went above and beyond throughout the project and was extremely accommodating. The entire crew was hardworking, efficient, and highly professional.

Reaction Exteriors is a well managed, dependable business that trains their employees well to provide an excellent product in an efficient manner. I've been in the retail Home Improvement industry for over 40 years. One of my jobs was a regional manager of installations for the largest Home Improvement retailer in the world. Needless to say I'm very in tune with how the install business works.

I was in a bind, my home was on the market and after receiving an offer the buyers had their inspector complete the home inspection, the inspection identified some concerns with moisture behind the stucco in 3 areas of the home. I didn't want to just have the 3 areas repaired so I started to look for reputable companies to bid for the work. Steve and his crew remodeled my kitchen, laundry room, and powder room. The project was complete on time and the site was cleaned up every day. His crew was kind, respectful and professional. Reaction Exteriors removed my stucco and replaced it with Hardie Board and natural stone, in addition to adding a portico. They also replaced all my exterior doors. Very positive experience. Everyone we worked with , from initial sales person (Gary), to owners, to project manager (Steve Jr. ), to all the technicians, are very professional and responsive to all of our questions/demands. Project manager kept us informed thru out the entire job. All the technicians worked very hard and handled all tasks meticulously. We highly recommend Reaction Exteriors to home owners when you need someone to work on your house.

Worked closely with county to ensure permit process flowed properly. Promptly attended to client feedback and last minute changes. ADA compliant bathroom and closet addition was pleasing to our elderly father in law. They took the time to consult with him on details to ensure he was happy with the new room. Fantastic experience with Reaction Exteriors!! Owner Steve came highly recommended from several people we asked and he responded quickly after we had damage to our house after a hurricane. He came out personally to do a walk through and explain job specs to us, and his entire team was great to work with as well. Paolo communicated regularly about recommendations and updates, and went above and beyond to fix up our house. They paid attention to details, painting shutters and trim, updating lights, cleaned up everything after the job was finished, and the end result looks fabulous!! Could not be happier. Reaction Exteriors is the only business I look to for stucco remediation. I used them for some minor repairs 10 years ago. I also referred them to neighbors who have used them as well over the years. Recently another stucco inspection showed a need for more involved remediation. This recent process included removing windows, complete removal of stucco and rebuilding the walls, resetting windows and finished with painting the stucco . Every single employee from Reaction is fantastic. From the initial quote from Steve, project management from Pablo and the entire crew! I enjoyed having the crew around and hearing them interact. Always positive interactions. Work was exceptional. Area was always clean on a daily basis. They didn’t try to “oversell” products or work. They are the only company I trust!
