The Goddard School at Barker Cypress

My grandson goes there and we cannot be any happier. The owner Sarah and Maha did excellent job structuring every detail in the school, the team trained very well, very professional. They are the best.

I love this place. It is well organized and put together. My boys have the best classroom teachers and love attending. I get notifications throughout the day of what they are learning. There is communication between the owner, director of education and the teachers along with the parents. They have apps to facilitate operations, to keep parents informed and to keep them involved. It warms my heart when I bring my boys to the school and they light up when they see their teachers and friends. Paige and Trish are amazing at keeping operations at the school running while still forming relationships with every child. My boys teachers have been the best, they truly love my children and I feel comfortable leaving them there. My boys come home with all types of knowledge and manners which helps support what I try to teach them at home. Curriculum is followed and I can see what is being taught...

Awesome school for early childhood education

This was the best choice for my family. My baby is very loved and I leave him everyday knowing that he is in good hands. They have great and inclusive activities to get the family involved too which is a great plus. Very clean environment. My baby always has a smile in his face when we pick him up and it’s eager to be there every morning. We specially love Ms. Mitra, Neda, Mary, Ms Rana and Ms Juliet. We had an extremely positive experience at this branch. The teachers and staff are dedicated, nurturing, and deeply invested in the growth of my child. The staff is proactive and encourages open communication, which gives me peace of mind knowing my child is in such caring hands.

We absolutely love it here! We feel very confident leaving our boys here and knowing they will be taken care of. Our baby loves Ms.Rana and Ms. Juliet, he's so excited to see them in the morning. My toddler loves Ms.Chelsea, Mr. Carlos and Ms. Teresa's class. There is another teacher, Mr. Fabian, who goes to every class and sings songs to the kids while playing the guitar, the children love it! The teachers and staff are attentive, and really seem to care about our children. I can't recommend this daycare enough. So happy we moved our children here, I just wish we would have only attended this daycare.

Our student started Goddard as a three year old and is now in Pre K. The top qualities we desired were first a safe and nurturing environment that could be confirmed through open communications about student development and progress. Social skill, the old "plays well with others", was a top priority at this age. And the development of communication skills, both listening and verbal expression. Throughout each semester this learning was obvious for the age of the student. Lots of good "reports" ( both good and "needs attention and improvement. Parent/ Teacher conferences were available for "face to face" discussion with teachers. The knowledge and caring of the teachers each year helped create realistic expectations for each cycle. The administration department would work to schedule each "interaction" requested. " What do you expect...

The Goddard School at Barker Cypress was amazing for my little girl. She was there for a year and a half before we had to leave due to relocating, otherwise I would have kept her there through pre-K! She learned so much and the development that we saw in her was incredible. All of her teachers were so caring and kind to her. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for more than just a daycare (and I would return my daughter there if life ever happened to bring us to the area again!) Your child will be more than prepared when they are ready to start school.

Our oldest went to kindergarten this year and, while we are still doing before and after care, we were sad that she was leaving the Goddard family during the day. Seriously the best.

Professional and caring team!

Our experience at The Goddard School - Barker Cypress has been nothing short of amazing. There’s a sense of community there. The teachers communicate openly with parents, providing regular updates, and truly care about the children. They aren’t just babysitters, they are constantly doing learning activities and actually teaching. I can confidently say my child is advanced versus other children I know who are at other daycares or not in daycare at all that are her age because of her time at Goddard. Goddard provides a nurturing and safe environment that gives us parents a sense of peace knowing our kiddos are in great hands.

I sent my son to The Goddard of Barker Cypress with the expectation of greatness. The school has been nothing but great! The teachers, staffs, and the families that are there are all sweet and loving. The two years we sent our child, we had no worries if he'll be hurt or experience negative things, he comes home with full of laughter and love. Our son is going to kindergarten and we know he's fully ready to experience school due to Goddard. We can't wait to send our little girl in a year. Thank you Goddard and can't wait to be back :D

The Goddard at Barker Cypress has been like a part of our family for years. My daughter began attending when she was 2 and Graduated from the preschool program and has returned for summer camp. She has enjoyed reuniting with old friends, and looks forward to going camp everyday. I feel secure knowing she is with some of the same great teachers she had in preschool.

Friendly, clean atmosphere for my chid….they care about each child safety

I’ve been searching new daycare for my toddler since we’ve moved and read a lot of reviews about this school. Despite negative reviews this location has been have, I decided to trust them once because I think the school does care and wants to improve and provides the best for the kids. I had my son transferred to Goddard school worried that he would be upset and not gonna like new environment because he’s been going to daycare just for 8months. I was wrong, everyday I drop him off his class and walk by other classes I see the teachers always smile at me and the babies, kids which that brings good vibes to me. The teachers of my son does do to the door to take him to the class, his previous daycare never done that before. Picking him up everyday see his smiles and things he learns from school surprises me. I absolutely love everything about this school, from the front office down to the teachers. It’s clean and spacious, my daughter actually has a curriculum and I can tell because she always comes home telling me a fun fact or something new she learned. Mrs.Amber and Mrs.Mikayla and Mr.Fabian are wonderful, they all bring a unique way of teaching that just works.
My oldest went here back in 2017 and like now I never had a problem or was unaware of anything. They are good to keeping you up to date with your child’s progress as well as events. Overall just very happy with The Goddard School.

The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I consulted with other daycares before signing up my son and this school has checked off everything on my checklist. The school is very safe, the staff is really good with the kids. The communication between staff and parents is excellent which is very important to me. My son loves this place and looks forward to going each day.

Goddard has truly been a blessing for us. Initially, I was concerned about the lack of cameras, but the consistent updates and witnessing a positive transformation in our toddler have completely won my trust. I must give credit to Miss Vanessa, Miss Daisy, and Miss Elysa. they are all incredible and ensure that our toddler feels secure and content. We love The Goddard School. Every teacher has been wonderful and it is evident that they all love what they do and care about the kids so much. My children are not only gaining valuable knowledge but also learning essential social skills through collaborative activities and group projects. Our youngest has adored Mrs. Metra, Mrs. Neda, Mrs. Marie, Mrs. Rana, and Mrs. Juliet. Our oldest is a huge fan of Mrs. Rose, Mrs. Chelsea, Mrs. Theresa, Mrs. Gilmore, and Mrs. Jehan. The best school I could choose for my children! Ms Chelsea, Ms Theresa, Ms Kim, Ms Maisa and Ms Gilmore 💙 can't praise their attention to children enough. The admin staff is very friendly and accommodating.

My child has been attending this daycare for the past year, and I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact it has had on their development. The staff is truly exceptional. They take the time to get to know each child individually, and they are always there to support and encourage them. I can confidently say that leaving my child in their care is never a worry. I can’t recommend them enough to any parent seeking a daycare that goes above and beyond!

Would highly recommend The Goddard School, they do such a great job of hearing your needs and working with you! Ms.Rose and Ms.Stephanie are truly amazing and I got to see my son flourish so much and communicates effectively now. Wish I could of kept him here but the commute from the south side of houston was too tough. Even considered moving to cypress which speaks volumes.

Our little one has been at this Goddard since she was 4 months old(now 4). She has been through every classroom since and we couldn't be happier with our choice to have this Goddard care for her while we go to work. The Infant rooms are top tier. The teachers now are the same main group when our little one was in there. The glow they have you know they loved their jobs. Those babies are loved on so much we still stop by to visit and get hugs in. During their Thanksgiving party(maybe xmas i don't recall) they invited families in for a little holiday meal/party. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law both attended and gave their stamp of approval. For my mexican suegra to approve of the care her 8 month old granddaughter received is a big deal. My little ones learning and happiness have been consistent in each classroom after infants. She's at an age now I sometimes wonder how she learned...

You can tell the level of care is paramount for each child enrolled with faculty always eager to help. This school deserves a visit/tour to see for yourself! We highly recommend!

Goddard at Barker Cypress is an amazing school! I've never seen a school that truly cares about their children the way I have seen at Goddard. I have met some of the most amazing teachers here who will truly do everything in their will to give these kiddos a great learning experience and nothing less. The owner really goes above and beyond for this school and these kiddos!
