The Goddard School

My son used to go to Goddard School of Skillmen 5 years ago when we moved from Brazil, and as soon as I found out I was pregnante again I didn't even had to think twice and got her enrolled at the infant class at Goddard. I trust the teachers and the directors, and the owner and would recommend to everyone.

Our daughter goes here and she loves it. The curriculum is age appropriate. They do have many extra activities throughout the year.The place is clean and well maintained. Front desk staff and management are very professional and helpful. Special shoutout to her class teachers Mrs Kumkum and Mrs Pooja- they are so good with kids.

We love the Goddard school. Our kid has been going there for the last year and we have seen excellent care from prek teachers ms kumkum and ms pooja. The summer camp with field trip has been a highlight for my kiddo. Will highly recommend this facility to everyone.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at The Goddard School. As parents, there’s nothing more important than knowing your child is safe, happy, and cared for, and this school has given us that peace of mind every day.

A special thank you to Ms. Priya and Ms. Stephanie for being such kind, patient, and caring teachers. Our preschooler genuinely enjoys going to school, and we can see how much love and attention they give to the children.

From the directors—Ms. Heather, Ms. Sweta, and Ms. Rachel—to the classroom teachers, like Ms. Erica and Ms. Smita, everyone at Montgomery Goddard has created such a warm, nurturing, and caring environment for our son. The staff goes above and beyond to give each child individual attention while creating a curriculum that encourages engagement, curiosity, and playfulness. We’ve been sending our son to this Goddard year-round since he was an infant, and we’re so thrilled with how they’ve supported his development and encouraged him to explore and experience so many new things.

Ms. Kumkum really excelled as a teacher with my son, he is one the youngest of his class and was able to adjust very well to his pre-school class. My wife and I are very grateful.

Goddard School has been an incredible experience for our family. The curriculum, facilities, and overall environment strike the perfect balance of structured learning and play-based exploration, and the communication from the administration has always been top-notch. Within this wonderful school, Ms. Kumkum truly stands out as an exceptional teacher. Her warmth, patience, and genuine care shine through in everything she does — she takes the time to know each child individually and celebrates their unique personalities and milestones. She communicates wonderfully with parents, always keeping us updated on our child’s progress and making us feel like true partners in their learning journey. Our child has grown so much under her guidance, and we’re so grateful Goddard paired us with a teacher like her!

Our children have been attending Goddard in Skillman for about 3 years and are now in class with Ms. Z, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Alexi, and Ms. Poornima. When we pick our children up each day, they have plenty of fun stories about what they did and learned. We feel that our children are in very good hands! Thank you!

Ms Z is the best! Both my kids thrived here and were ready to rock kindergarten.

The administration is excellent, responsive, and always addresses any questions or concerns immediately. The teachers are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s well-being and development. They were especially supportive and patient in helping our son transition to daycare for the first time. The facility is consistently very clean, organized, and welcoming, and we have been extremely pleased with the overall quality of care and communication.

I want to share my deep appreciation for Ms. Purnima & Ms.Z. They are both incredibly gifted for teaching and taking care of the children. My child is blossoming both socially and academically. We couldn't have asked for a better foundation for his education."

We have been with Goddard for about 4 years. Ms Poornima & Ms Munzarin have made a tremendous impact on our daughter. The passion and care the teachers pour into the students is remarkable.

We have had a wonderful experience at Goddard. All of the teachers and admin (Ms. Sweta in particular is like a ray of sunshine every time I enter the school) were so gracious and patient with helping my daughter transition into daycare, and she has grown so much under their guidance. My daughter has loved all of her teachers- including Ms. Pooja, Ms. Priya, and Ms. Poornima, who have all been so amazing and supportive - but I want to especially call out Ms. Z for embodying what I consider to be the perfect early childhood educator. Her enthusiasm and compassion towards all of her students is second to none, and my daughter has learned so much from her. As a parent, I also appreciated how she would always keep me up to date on things and was always so approachable! I definitely think our family made the right choice going to Goddard and look forward to enrolling our second child...

So far, we have had a great experience with the Goddard School. Our son started in January in the infant class and is now in Toddler A with Ms Helena, Ms Angelica and Ms Noopur. His teachers have consistently demonstrated open and clear communication with us about his daily activities and needs. While he is obviously happy to see us at pick up time, when we arrive for pick up, he is always happy and engaged in an activity with the teachers or his classmates.

We explored multiple daycare facilities before landing with Goddard. They were all priced relatively the same as 'premium early childhood education', but the cleanliness and structure of the Goddard School is what confirmed it was the right choice for our family.

My kid enjoys going to school and she is happy kid going in and leaving the school which makes the parents happy.

My 2 year old granddaughter is an energetic, curious child and the program at Goddard seems to fill her need for movement and learning. The facility is attractive and clean, and the staff is warm and cheerful. I’m glad she is at Goddard.

Very caring

It’s a great environment that make my daughter thrives . All the staff is engaged and the teachers are really great in what they do. Love the cleanliness and organization of the place, the communication and the special features and events they proposed for the kids and family too.

The teachers at Goddard and the curriculum were excellent. They have done so much for Noah and helped him grow and thrive in these past 2 years. We will miss coming to Goddard.

Great school, clean, and staff that cares. Our 3 year old was nervous at first and quickly adjusted. They also do a lot of fun weekly events for kids during the camp season. I’d recommend!

Highly recommend because of the following:
1. Student to Teacher Ratios are maintained as promised at Goddard (versus other day cares/schools that do not actually follow this).
2. Education level is at par or better than other schools in the area - children really learn something good and we have witnessed their progress month by month.
3. Cleanliness - Goddard school has mandated hand washing as soon as children enter the classroom. Everything is maintained in a clean and organized way to limit the spread of sickness.
4. Management at Goddard Skillman - the owner Mr. Sanjay is very involved, engaged, present on site and takes meaningful steps to improve management at school.
5. Teachers - the teachers recruited are well educated, experienced, gentle and caring. Children connect with teachers so easily and love them. That shows quite a bit as children...

Excellent summer camp activities, field trips, and work fun community visitors. Experienced, qualified teachers in toddlers and up and especially in preK. Rigorous and super fun curriculum during school year. Great preparation for kindergarten. Friendly staff all around :) thank you Goddard!

All teachers we met are caring and really patient and the design of activities especially for summer camp is inspiring.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with The Goddard School. The staff are incredibly warm, attentive, and truly care about each child’s development and well-being. Communication is consistent, and we always feel informed and supported. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such capable and caring hands.

We have two children at the Goddard Skillman location and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The teachers and staff are incredible, attending to the unique needs of each of our children. The curriculum is fantastic and the culture their truly makes them feel like family. We are constantly recommending the school to our friends in the area.
