The Goddard School

As a first time mom, I was a bit nervous about this school at first when my son initially started the school and i intentionally took my time in providing any feedback. I wanted to spend time evaluating the process, relationship with staff and value my son is getting from the school . I love the diversity of both staff and students, it truly does look like the United Nations in the school. Diversity and education are one of its strengths, I have also been happy to see that there is genuine care , concern plus support given to my son thus far.

We had a wonderful experience at the Goddard in Skillman and only left due the kids aging out and graduating. Between my 2 kids, they experienced multiple classrooms and we found each teacher to be patient, kind and engaging. Both my kids LOVED Ms. Z in the PreK B class—her teaching style, ability to draw out each child’s strengths and work on their deficiencies was truly phenomenal. She made the school day fun, interesting and educational. We will truly miss her. We also loved how warm and dedicated the other teachers we worked with —Ms. Poornima, Ms. Joshi and Ms. Hatice. Administration was also extremely easy to work with—Mr. Sanjay, Ms. Heather, Ms. Sweta and Ms. Rachel were very responsive to questions and focused on adapting the structure and day to day activities to ensure a safe and conducive environment. From the very beginning, Ms. Z has shown exceptional dedication, kindness, and professionalism. Ms. Z creates a nurturing and stimulating environment where our daughter feels safe and excited to explore new things. From the moment my husband and I considered Goddard School for our five-year-old, we knew it was a special place. Our family's positive experiences (in the past for my nieces and nephews) reinforced our decision, and upon moving to Skillman, we were eager for our daughter to begin her journey at Goddard Skillman.
