Montclair Veterinary Associates is convenient, friendly and clean. Dr. Waxman explained everything & helped me understand what my dog needed. He also gave me a quote before he proceeded with anything. I appreciated that.

Probably the most pleasant vet experience I’ve ever had. The staff was warm, friendly and attentive.

My cat is a nervous wreck around strangers but the vet tech knew exactly what to do to ensure my cat was comfortable and at ease for the whole visit.

We brought our cat here for the first time for her vaccines and had such a great experience! Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and took his time with us. He did a really thorough examination and explained everything clearly, which made us feel like our cat was genuinely being well cared for rather than the appointment being rushed.
We felt very comfortable here and are so happy we found this veterinary office. Definitely recommend Montclair Veterinary Associates to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and attentive vet! ❤️🐱

The entire staff is quite incredible. Not only are they extremely responsive, they lead with compassion and love for every pet, even the snippy muzzled up pups like mine. Dr waxman is a genius, Jim while my dog has complicated relationship with him, I absolutely adore that man. And Tyler, wow, everytime I call he’s ready for us. He is so incredible, and super helpful and quite a companion in the waiting room. I could just hang in the waiting room with Tyler and Jim chatting and they completely alleviate all my anxiety about what’s possibly wrong with my dog…now.

Came here for the first time for my cat’s VERY FIRST appointment. Everyone was super sweet and helpful, I was also able to get my cats vaccinated on the first day with no problem! Definitely will be coming here again ^^

I came here to get my cat’s ears looked at because they were dirty and bothering her. They found a polyp in one of them and we have been discussing treatment options. I absolutely adore all the staff here! Everyone is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They truly make you feel comfortable during stressful times. All of the staff here are such amazing and caring people! They’re very transparent about treatments and pricing, and also give great advice on how to navigate anything pet-related. One of the best things about here are the multiple events that they have throughout the year geared towards all of their pet patients and owners, ranging from Halloween costume parties, spring fling, meet Santa, and more! I couldn’t have chosen a better vet to go to!

I was very anxious about seeing a new vet, but I left feeling completely at ease. Dr. Waxman and the entire staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. My "UKC" AMERICAN BULLY "Valentine" had issues relating to allergies. After Veterinarian searching I've come across this extraordinary blessing. An honest Vet, very professional, very clean environment, staff was amazing, very detailed with explanations, and most of all caring with a gentle touch. Being born & raised in Montclair, this is by far the best animal medical program around! And if you don't think so, you are what you leave behind when you walk your dog 💩.
