One of my favorite vets I’ve ever been to. Dr waxman (and Tyler up front) are great.

Highly recommend!! Dr. Waxman and his whole team are amazing and take excellent care of our dogs. We have a smaller dog with some health issues and they are very thorough with her and help us tremendously. Shoutout to Tyler - super helpful and very responsive!

If my dogs could leave this review, I’d be out of a job… so here we go.

Dr. Waxman = actual wizard. I’m convinced there’s a hidden Hogwarts diploma somewhere in that office because every visit ends with my pup magically feeling better (and me dramatically less stressed).

Jim (vet tech) = the calm, reassuring MVP every pet parent needs. Somehow manages to handle chaos, nerves, and wagging tails like it’s a walk in the park. Honestly, if pets could vote, Jim would win employee of the year—every year.

And Tyler… where do I even start. Office manager, therapist, logistics genius, and low-key the glue holding everything together. The kind of person who makes you feel like you’ve known them forever within five minutes. If you’re lucky enough to interact with him, you already know.

Dr. Waxman and team are amazing. We have had great experiences every time, they are kind, take the time to listen to our concerns, and most importantly always make our dog feel calm and comfortable. I’m so grateful that Montclair Vet Associates exists

My "UKC" AMERICAN BULLY "Valentine" had issues relating to allergies. After Veterinarian searching I've come across this extraordinary blessing. An honest Vet, very professional, very clean environment, staff was amazing, very detailed with explanations, and most of all caring with a gentle touch. Being born & raised in Montclair, this is by far the best animal medical programs around! And if you don't think so, you are what you leave behind when you walk your dog 💩.

If you're looking for a warm environment, great service, and a fabulous Veterinarian, this spot is definitely something to bark about 🐕 😊 👍

Our kitty is very happy at Montclair veterinary associates. The veterinary team is wonderful: everyone is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! They know exactly how difficult breeds of cats differ in body size and fluff and how to get animals engaged and cooperate during exams. We’ve been to three other vets before moving here, and Montclair veterinary associates are hands down the best. I also really love how easy it is to communicate with them and how on top of the paperwork they are. Very happy with everything, from exams to vaccines to getting medication!

We brought our dog Rudy for his puppy check up. We were so happy and enjoyed our time with our vet and vet tech. So excited to be working with them in the future for our fur baby!

We had an amazing experience at our puppy’s first vet visit - Dr. Waxman, vet tech Joey, and Tyler at the front desk were all so friendly and welcoming, they made both us and our puppy feel comfortable. Joey was great at helping my puppy feel at ease during his vaccine. Dr. Waxman was kind and took the time to answer all of our questions especially as new puppy parents. We look forward to bringing him back again. We trust them with our puppy’s care and will be referring our neighbors!

I moved her from KC and was extremely nervous about trusting a new vet office. I couldn’t be happier that I found MVA!! The office is clean and very modern. Every staff member I met was kind and clearly animal lovers. Dr. Waxman was also kind and very informative for the entire time. I felt the prices were reasonable and I was able to be seen short notice. If you’re nervous, I recommend this team 100%!!

We came with our house cat to a place that was truly friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Waxman is an excellent, knowledgeable , friendly and caring vet who is also very responsive when a medical issue has popped up outside of an appointment. In addition, his support staff are also very caring, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

This was my first Vet visit with my timid new rescue dog. Dr Waxman and his assistant Joey were wonderful - kind, professional and attentive. Dr Waxman spent a long time and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend this practice

Last minute first time appointment for our high anxiety dog. The staff was patient, kind and friendly. The doctor was thorough and explained everything. Before we left, our pup was kissing Jim and all of us left happy.

I took my baby there for an emergency, because his normal Dr didn't answer the phone. Needless to say this is my dog's new dr.. Everyone was loving, caring, kind and sympathetic.....I absolutely love it here...

I loved the service. They were so patient with my dog, she came in super nervous but the staff won her over.
