I started my therapy so I could ski this winter. I had extreme pain on my right knee. It hurt just walking up and down stairs or walking on the beach. After a few sessions I went to Vermont on a ski trip. I was able to ski all morning without pain. I'm so thrilled with the results I've had.

Hi , Jocelyn Pung is wonderful. I had groin/hip pain two years ago and an xray confirmed hip degeneration. I went to traditional PT for a bit which did not help much. Did not do any cortisone shots.
Then I met Joanne. Had about three sessions before we left for the North and her recommendation of exercis.es to do. I was able to play tennis and pickleball that summer. Now two years later I contacted her for a "tune up". Can already tell a difference in range of motion and pain level after three sessions.
She has helped me postpone hip surgery and still play tennis, swim, short walks. etc.

Joann has been a miracle worker for me for some time. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when I started, tending to assume that she would be able to get results for my long-term pain by doing something as simple as applying pressure to various points on my body and “listening” to my muscles and the pain they’re experiencing. But consider me convinced. Her knowledge is bordering on encyclopedic and she has such an intuitive ability that has yielded great results for me and improved my quality of life. If you’re hesitant about whether to start treatment, don’t be. You won’t regret it.

I was met with compassion from the very start. I wasn't just a number. My goals....along with hopes and dreams were addressed by all members of this team. They not only addressed the pain of the moment but how to continue to maintain a painfree life doing the things I love......through an ongoing home stretch and exercise program.

Excellent choice if chronic pain is your issue. Joann and staff are extremely professional and bring a knowlege base to the patient that traditional medicine cannot deliver. I was in sheer agony as the doctors could not determine the cause of my pain being from my back or my hip. My daughter had worked with Joann at a rehab facility and said to me...
"I don't know what she does, but her patients all love her"
That was all I needed to hear. I wanted to be out of pain.
I cannot say enough good things about Joann and her unusual techniques other than I would not have survived without her.
Happy to report, my hip has been replaced and I am now for the most part pain free.

great staff clean and professional office this practice is a lost art and should be used in all therapy

My pain Dr. sent me here to give it a try. I have been in pain for way over 10 years with back, neck, shoulder, and rear end pain. So far, this place is the only place that is giving me hope that I will have a better future.

At 71 years old, I discovered I had extreme scoliosis. Apparently, my body compensated until it didn’t. After major back surgery to correct the curve, I had severe leg muscle pain. I had walked so many years leaning to the right (where the curve was) that my muscles had shortened. Having my back straight for the first time in my life, my leg muscles just wouldn’t stretch out straight again. A doctor recommended I go to Manual Therapy and Concierge Service. I can’t not say enough about Joann and her team. I had tried EVERYTHING and was at my absolute wits end of being in chronic pain for over 5 years. I am a naturally happy person with a beautiful life, but my pain was causing my crippling depression. Joann totally understood what my body was going through. She made me feel heard, and sane! My therapist resolved my pain by correcting my posture and releasing tight muscles, which a medical doctor never did. I loved my therapist because she showed me on her ipad what she was doing. She responded to all the pain I had. I didn't know until the end of my treatment that she researched on her own time how best to treat me. Even though I still have some pain (I have fibromyalgia), I am able to swim, teach water exercise and bike like I used to before I was treated. I would highly recommend Manual Physical Therapy. I tried other physical therapy before a friend recommended MPT. It was useless.

I have been suffering with hip pain for many years. I follow all the instructions from my doctors. I got shots, did many sessions of physical therapy. Ending with a left hip replacement in 2017. Things didn't go well and I had to have it redone 6 weeks later. I and longer period of recovery I did physical therapy again. It helped but I ran out of appointments. I tried to continue on my own and made some progress but I still had pain in my left hip. I was getting depressed and I called the surgeon to see what can be done. The x-rays showed it to be muscular and the AP suggest Manual Physical Therapy and told me that she thought they would be the best place for my problem. Manual Physical Therapy was recommended to me by a pain management doctor. I had already scheduled a consult with a surgeon for severe nerve pain. After my first visit I knew I was in good hands. I canceled my surgeon consult, stopped any meds, and continued my appointments with Manual Therapy. In a matter of weeks, I was out of pain. One year later, I can take care of myself so I am not a slave to appointment after appointment. This place has made me pain free, put me back to work, and gave me the confidence to (follow instructions) take care of myself with simple exercises every day so I stay pain free.

I had problems with my hip. It hurt to move, to turn over in bed, to get in the car, get out of the car, etc. I'd had this problem for 3 years. I went to Manual Physical Therapy, and after the first visit, I noticed a difference in the pain level. After my treatment was finished, my pain had gone from a 10 to about a 3. They showed me exercises to do to help, and they really do work. I try to do them daily, but when I notice my pain level rising, I do the exercises! This is the best place for getting your life back. Manual Physical Therapy is not like the usual physical therapy...it's more of a hands on manipulation. I love them!

I was referred to Joann Pung by my Orthopedic Spine Surgeon in an effort to control pain in my back. I have been to many PTs over the years and they were all pretty much the same and provided little pain relief. Joann is very different from all the others. Her hands-on approach is different than anything I had previously experienced. After a few visits she had focused on specific issues relating to my pain and 'worked them' with great results. She taught me how to treat myself successfully. I highly recommend her for back pain issues.

Kind, caring and knowledgeable. I always hated physical therapy and thought it to be a waste of time until I have been experiencing the one on one therapy applications here.
