Lumin Laundry

The laundrymat I’ve used for over 20 years washers were out of order with very few working, so we decided to go somewhere else. We looked online and found lumen laundry on Ballinger Way. It was near us so we headed there.
We were pleasantly surprised to see such a clean, large, well lit laundry with new machines and lots of them.
We spoke with Lily over the phone before arriving. She was very nice. When we walked in, I said oh you must be the one I talked to on the phone and she said oh yes, that was me. Then when we were moving our comforters from the washer to the dryer, a lovely lady gave us some assistance and it turns out she was the owner Kathleen.
Kathleen was helpful and friendly, even helping us to figure out how to use the machine buttons and actually saved us a bit of money on the dryer.

Cleanest laundromat I have ever been in. Update: this laundromat has spoiled me for all others. I moved and have tried several others and hated the whole experience. Will definitely be making the drive to Lumin next time. There’s just no comparison.
Prices are clearly posted. The machines are industrial machines and you can fill them up most of the way full. I was in and out fast. The people are nice and the washing machines spin cycle gets most of the water out so dry time is minimal. This is definitely my new spot while I’m needing a laundromat.

I came across this place by accident and I'm so glad I did. I was looking for a laundromat closer to home, this one is 6 mins away from me and it is the best laundromat I have ever gone to. I have been to dozens of laundromat from Massachusetts and Washington state and I am really hoping they have one of these in every state because it is by far the best.

This laundomat is very clean and pleasant. There is no smell or visible trace of mold. It is absolutely spotless. You need to get a card and load it to use in the machines. The same card opens the restrooms. The prices are somewhat high, but the value is excellent, as the clothing actually comes out clean, unlike most laundromats in the area. It is a great experience!

Great fast service when on the move

Wow, I haven't been to a laundromat in years, and this place is like nothing I have ever seen. I didn't how to do anything and the attendant, Tracy jumped in and walked me through both washer and dryer! Then, she checked on me while she was cleaning, and gave me bags to put my comforters in. Really helpful and kind and the place was immaculate. What an experience. Thank you Tracy! I shall return.

Lumin has some great amenities, plenty of light and a work space for those who’d like to wait while their laundry is being washed. The customer service was also top notch, big shout out to Avery who answered all our questions and went above and beyond our expectations.

I brought in a comforter to clean that was way too big for my machine. Staff was very helpful, the place was very clean!

This place is great! I brought in a washable rug for the first time. one of the owners was there working, and she just went above and beyond to help me through the process.
The whole place was very clean and easy to navigate through. The machines were obviously taken care of. I feel very good about bringing my linens here and will definitely be back.

Got a wash and fold service done here, it was a huge order so I was so thankful they could help us with it. They did an excellent job, even going as far as matching all of our socks. They took such care with our clothes, I will definitely be using them again in the future.

This is the nicest laundry mat I have ever seen. I also travel and use laundry mats where I go and with this one I didn’t mind hanging out for a while coz it’s nice.

Very clean facility with places to sit and hang out. Easy to load money on a laundry card (cash or credit card). Helpful staff on-site to get you started. Prices seemed reasonable for the time it took. Was able to wash and dry two loads of bedding in one hour for $20. Definitely worth it to save time and use large clean machines.

We travel a lot and use laudromats along the way. This is, without a doubt, the finest laudromat in the country and probably on the planet. The room is spacious, immaculately clean, cheerful, and very well lit. The machines are highly varied (for all load sizes), spotless, and very well maintained. The room has a bunch of useful amenities (Wifi, spotless restrooms, water dispensers, carts for laundry, a sales area with cleaning products, etc). And, best of all, the person who was running the place when we were there (Johanna) was super helpful and friendly.

Only one small complaint: the card-charging system used to put money in the machines seems to be needlessly complicated and requires an estimation of the appropriate among to put on the card (in order to avoid losing money if you are not reusing the facilities). I don't understand why the machines cannot be fitted...
