I had a wonderful experience at Hospital BC. The staff was amazing. Dr. Illan is an amazing surgeon. He met with me before my surgery answered all my questions made me feel safe. The drivers were incredible they all spoke very good English. Beto was one of the nicest people there checked on me, always smiling. The hospital is clean and beautiful. They take very good care of you after surgery, make sure you have your pain medicine, your antibiotics, nausea medicine etc. I highly recommend this place as it's affordable and better than most American hospitals.

After spending 8 of my 10 days here I'm ready to write my review. I'll start with my arrival. Very scary but efficient so overall it was good. My surgeon Dr. Mc Gregor...no words can explain. Visit his Instagram to see his work. He was amazing. The staff ( practice your Spanish now) especially Michelle... You will fall in love with her. Sweetest person and she confronts all issues immediately. The valet guys are wonderful and they do there best to please. Just please tip them cause they work off tips Then nurses are wonderful if they are experienced. I think I had a lot of new nurses. Now the downfall... If you can't tolerate pain and being hungry this isn't the place for you. I've comtiplated just trying to find the local drug dealer to bring me something for pain (LOL)... No but, I'm serious. After day two it's no more pain pills and it's awful. Please, please, please bring your own...

I Came to Hospital BC for Hiatal Hernia repair and the Gastric sleeve. The hospital is amazing! Very clean and organized. The staff are super helpful and Friendly. Beto and Fred are super friendly and helpful with anything and were ready to assist 😀 with anything my husband and I needed. The nurses are super nice and very professional and intelligent. The Doctor's all came in to inquire about my health and answers any questions a may have this included a cardiologist, a anesthesiologist, a nutritionist, a pharmacy specialist and the surgeon Dr. Jahil illan. All were super knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The surgeon is amazing and was very detailed with his explanations and did an amazing job on my surgery. I have minimal bandaid size incisions and post opp pain is minimal and I was given timely pain management to keep my pain away. I would Most Definitely recommend...

Choosing Hospital BC for weight loss surgery was the best decision I could have made. The staff is great, always willing to help with whatever you may need. The game changers are by far the valets. Funny, caring, and supportive Beto, Fred, and Joe are top notch!!!

Dr. Illan is a very knowledgeable, kind, and caring physician who is clearly very dedicated to providing only the very best care. His entire team of nurses, valets (Beto, Joe, and Fred) are very attentive and an invaluable resource. Flor, the nutritionist is a phenomenal asset that is wonderful, thorough, and responsive. Their state of the art facility is very comfortable for not only the patient but, the companion, as well. If you are on the fence, do it. You will not ever EVER regret it. Dr. Illan would be my choice over and over again to help me get started on my journey to a healthier me!

Hospital BC and Dr Illan are great, the facility and the care you get are by far some of the best I’ve had in the hospital. The valets Fred and Beto are the best, they are there every step of the way and get you what you need and answer all your questions.

From pre-op to post-op every email/phone call has been professional, quick in response and it’s truly made my experience so easy. Thanks to our driver Luis, the anesthesiologist , Dr Illan and the nurses. They have all been prompt to respond and helped me so much! To my favorite valet Beto, your smile has helped me during this recovery more than you know!Your fluency in English is a major asset to hospital BC, and I hope they reward you for making their patients feel welcome, safe and in good hands! I don’t think during my first night I would have had 3 different Dr’s visiting and checking in on me! My first night was tough, I vomited a lot, and they really tried helping me with meds etc. I loved was all the quotes on the walls by Dr Illan! Also, the staff always looked happy, smiling and a good work environment tells you more than any review ever would! Thank you so much!

Ok if you are looking for the best surgeon in Tijuana I would say this is the place to go I am from San Antonio Texas and I decided to do the surgery about 6 months ago and I did a lot of research and I decided to choose him as my surgeon. My experience from day one was excellent walking in and just asking if I needed anything I didn't have to carry my bags they carried everything for me anything I needed such as water or pain meds or gas medicine they were on point with everything didn't have to wait long at all they come and check on you frequently not once I had to page anyone for assistance. Even by the comfort of your room I am a very clean person I even check the corners to make sure they sweep and mop and let me tell you it's clean from top to bottom and the rooms not only that you get to set your settings of AC by a remote I like to say very cold so that was very helpful for...

I was a little nervous when I entered Tijuana and found the Hotel Real Inn wasn’t as clean as I expected and the service wasnt great. I instantly because nervous that I may have been making a bad decision of traveling to Mexico for surgery, but once I made it to hospital BC I was greeted with so much kindness. All the doctors, nurses, valleys etc are amazing and informative. My surgery was quick and painless with how great they are at pain management. I haven’t had any issues what so ever. I really love how clean and fresh everything is in the hospital. Dr illan is so kind and have a great positive attitude. He removed my stomach and gallbladder simultaneously so I only had to endure one surgery, whereas in the states they require them to be separate. I feel like Hospital BC is 100x better than the hospitals in the California/ US. Plus you can’t beat the price. Highly recommend!

Hello! I got my vsg done here at Hospital BC and am very satisfied with everything. Had my surgery 7/22/22. From my personal experience the whole surgery went well, the first day of recovery was pretty rough but other patients had it a little easier. All the staff is amazing and have helped me through it all especially that I came on my own without a companion. I am still recovering but will definitely come on here again and post some before and Afters for you guys! Dr. Illan was very informative and made me so relaxed to put my life in his amazing surgeon hands. Would definitely recommend Hospital BC!

My daughter and I decided on hospital bc after we did the research and we're so glad that we did, it was an amazing experience. Our surgery date was July 18th 2022. The complete staff was absolutely great they made you feel extremely comfortable with no worries at all. The drivers were awesome and make you feel at ease driving into Mexico. The Hospital is very clean and the rooms are nice size. They have room for a companion if you want to travel with one. We would definitely recommend Hospital BC for anyone thinking about bariatric surgery.

If you are doing your research well here it goes. From the moment we arrived our driver to the whole staff the hospitality has been the best by far. This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. But for the first time in my life I need did something just for my self. So with the support of my husband and my two adult daughters I decided to get the mini by pass. The struggle is real with age and not being able to be as active as I once was I knew I needed a tool what would kickstart this new journey. Several attempts since in my early 20s I would yo-yo with my diet. Btw I had two sisters and one sister-in-law who have also been patients here and all I keep hearing was how great it was.
