This experience was better than anything I could’ve imagined. From the transportation dept reaching out to me PRIOR to me letting them know my flight had arrived 45 minutes early, the cleanliness and professionalism of the drivers, to the reception area and everyone I encountered day one- so professional and welcoming. I loved that the doctor came to see along with the anesthesiologist who was female (made me feel more comfortable). In particular, Beto, one of the drivers really just blew my mind- his helpfulness. He was only “the driver” but quickly morphed into my cheerleader. Making jokes to try to help me feel better, brought me to my room, brought my liquids, checked in to see how I was doing. Our experience (My wife and I) here has been great since first making the call to get information. Alex the coordinator was prompt on answering all emails, questions and concerns. Upon our arrival the staff assigned to us was very coordinated and in a timely manner and very professional. On surgery day Dr. Jalil Ilan explained the procedure in detail and made us feel at ease knowing that we would have a positive outcome. Dr. Ilan treats his patients (As he states) like family and ensures a safe and successful procedure.

RN (Nutritionist) Flor also stopped by to introduce herself and went over all essential information for the post-op diet. She provided great information.

In addition, let’s not forget about Beto. Beto has been welcoming and is always available to help all patients. He is a multi-tasker in many different ways and will go out of his way...

My experience at Hospital BC couldn’t have gone any better! The staff here was amazing, and attentive to me and my companions needs. Beto was especially amazing, going above and beyond my stay here at the hospital. I will definitely be recommending Dr. Illian and his team to my friends and family.

Now that I’m at home I have to write a review about my experience. First, everything is very organized. From the time you are picked up at the airport, taken to the hospital, and everything that follows. The hospital is immaculate- super clean! It puts the hospitals at home to shame honestly. You have a private room with Netflix, a big bathroom, and a shower.
The nurses are very nice. I felt extremely well taken care of. I travelled alone and with everyone being so attentive, I did not regret not having a companion.
Dr. Ilan came to see me before surgery, and he is just genuinely nice! You can just tell he loves what he does and his #1 goal is to provide you with a successful procedure. After the surgery I felt pretty terrible but so many nurses and doctors checked on me and were quick to offer pain meds etc to make me comfortable. Beto even called my mom and friend to...

The staff was AMAZING!!!!

Dr. Illan and his entire staff have been amazing. They are all welcoming, informative and compassionate. We have especially enjoyed the valets Beto and Fred. They are great liaisons and help with anything you may need during your visit. The Dr.s are attentive and at least one is always on staff. The nurses are quick to respond if you call and so helpful. And Flor is very informative regarding diet needs. I can not think of one negative thing about this experience and highly recommend Hospital BC for your bariatric needs.

Hospital BC is really clean and well run. Everyone who works here is very nice and supportive. Beto has been most very helpful. And let’s not forget Dr. Illian himself who is awesome!

What a great facility and great group of people. I work in healthcare and have been exposed to many homes, hospitals and clinics. I give this business a superior rating. Every staff member was excellent, from concierge, aid, nurse to the Doctors. Outstanding care for myself, the patient, and my husband, my escort. Many kudos to them!

My experience here at Hospital BC has been wonderful, all the nurses and doctors are super nice and kind! Not only nice to me but to my step mom as well. They really treat you like family. And ask answered every question I have asked and I love to ask questions and not once have they got annoyed or frustrated. I was super nervous coming into this, i believe the hardest part is just making the decision to come. But as soon as I got here I felt very comfortable and confident about my love changing decision. I love the way Dr.jailil illan explains everything he makes your feel very safe and explains everything very good. My biggest fear was being put to sleep! But honestly I can say that was the easiest part. I don’t remember a thing! Beto is AMAZING’ very welcoming and caring, also Fred in the night is amazing! Our driver Luis and Fernando was super amazing as well.

I am day 2 post gastric sleeve and feeling great. I have little pain and very little gas. Dr. Illan is so kind, patient, and friendly, he really does treat you like family. I have 5 wounds and they all look great. All the care I've received here is fantastic. I don't know any Spanish, but there's always a translator readily available. Beto and Fred have gone above and beyond in helping us get what we need, whether it is driving, translating, even encouragement, or giving recommendations to my husband for nearby markets and food, though the cafeteria here is great too (see below). We have felt very safe the whole time, even walking around the hotel and hospital in the day time. It has been a wonderful experience so far (though day 1 was painful, it was easier than childbirth) and nurses were offering IV pain and nausea medicine frequently. I would absolutely recommend this experience.

This place is amazing!! They are so accommodating and friendly. Bento has been such a great help to my husband, not sure what we would have done without him. Everyone is so friendly and professional and took great care of me. Thanks Hospital BC for making this an amazing experience!

Best experience! The nurses are super helpful. The drivers are phenomenal. Dr. Jalil is literally the best at what he does. Just had surgery yesterday and Ive been up and walking since after my surgery. Also… Beto is hilarious! You will really enjoy your experience I promise.

My experience here was awesome and I am very confident that I made the right decision!! Dr. Illan, all the other doctors, nurses, housekeeping, the drivers and of course Beto, who brought me my first meal after surgery 😉, were all wonderful! I felt extremely comfortable and felt like a part of their family! After speaking with Dr. Illan I felt that he truly cared and he commented that he would treat me as his own family and that made me realize that the decision I made was the right one! Everyone was super attentive and supportive and it made the biggest difference since I came alone. Of course I was very scared and nervous but they immediately made me feel at ease! Everyone has a great sense of humor here and you can tell they really love their jobs, that makes the biggest difference when they are providing care. This place was amazing just as all the other reviews mentioned. Clean, attentive, caring, from every single staff especially Beto. He made my stay super comfortable and always checked on me. I’m so glad I picked this hospital and will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants this procedure. I feel safe and's great knowing I was in such good hands.

My experience in this hospital was beyond amazing I highly recommend the doctor and the staff so professional and the drivers very kind and helpful the attention that you get at the facility is 100/10 I felt safe the entire time. Best decision I’ve ever made.

I came alone and I was nervous at first but I enjoyed my time here and the support from the team! The drivers were great! Fred and berto were very funny and kind. Dr ilian was very professional and he made me feel safe and taken care of! 10/10. All of the nurses and doctors were nice as well they listened when I was in pain and gave me the necessary medication and attention everytime I rang for help! I’m glad to have made these steps to change my life!
